I’m Stayfin. I was born in Siberia in 1994, and growing up there was quite an experience: winters dropping to -40°C, and summers filled with wolves, bears, and ticks that could literally take your life. Everywhere you go, life wants to test your resilience and spirit. But the place where I was born and spent my first 16 years truly forged my character.

I’ve been making art since early childhood. For about 12 years, I sculpted with clay and plasticine, then moved on to paper and drawing. After university, I got into "serious business" and other ventures, but by the time I turned 26, I found myself in a deep internal crisis, having lost all my bearings in life.

As unconventional as it might sound, I started searching for myself through spiritual practices, psychedelics, and Amanita muscaria microdosing. Through this, I began to find my true self again. I finally heard my inner voice and realized I had been living someone else's life, chasing someone else's goals and interests. I am an artist and a poet.

This realization hit me around the turn of 2020-2021. That’s when I heard about digital art and dove in headfirst. That is how I ended up here.

I found what I want to do for the rest of my life. At least, 5 years later, the fire is still burning. I am not ready to stop, even though it gets incredibly hard sometimes. I discovered a new world where I had to learn how to walk and talk all over again, like a newborn. Even now, there are times when I lose myself and my sense of purpose, but I always have my practices and my Amanita to help ground me and bring me back to my center.

I understand now that this is a lifelong journey. Life isn't an exponential curve or a straight line; it’s a series of waves. Sometimes they pull you deep into the ocean, and sometimes they throw you to the crest where you can ride them. Everything is cyclical but never straightforward. That’s exactly why I want to leave this text here—to anchor this moment in my life.

I’m still in the process of finding my art market and my collectors. Well, I’m not "searching" for them in the traditional sense, but looking back over these five years, I realize I’ve only just begun. There is still a long way to go, but I already have experience under my belt, and I’m ready to share it.

The main thing is to never give up, even when it’s suffocatingly hard. Seek out what energizes you. There are always "tools" around us with various useful properties; the key is knowing how to use them. I am all for whatever helps.

But you can never stop or take massive pauses. The Web3 world never forgives that. That’s a harsh lesson I’ve learned over these 5 years: I took too many breaks and stops, and it only pushed me backward. If you want stability, you have to provide that stability yourself—that’s the golden rule! And it works in everything.

Here, I just want to share my thoughts, my experiences, and the art I create. I will be glad to welcome everyone who enters my world. I accept everything that is happening and will happen with deep gratitude.
