Liquidity Bootstrapping Event

The team aims to launch its token through LBE. A Liquidity Bootstrapping Event is a mechanism to launch new tokens by eliminating bot manipulations and creating a fair launch for all investors. The mechanism adjusts the weight of the two tokens in the pool to create a high initial price with minimal up-front capital. Over time, the weight is programmatically adjusted to lower the price slowly, elongating the price discovery period and allowing investors to buy at a fair price.

Interesting fact – 70% of the whole supply is dedicated to yield farming, and 2.5% to the airdrop. Farmooors, ain’t it for you?

What is it all about?

Aftermath is working towards becoming the liquidity & trading hub of Sui. They have a multi-year plan focused on the interoperability of main products:

CMMM

AF (Aftermath Finance) has launched its Constant Mean Market Maker (CMMM) on devnet & testnet. CMMM allows for arbitrary-weighted pools with sizes greater than two. In simple words – there can be more than 2 tokens within 1 pool.

The pools can be useful for: low-liquid tokens, customized LP pairs, lending initiatives with flexible conditions, & even more complex but amazing stuff! Also, CMMM will be used to create decentralized indices and portfolio management systems.

Order book

A fully on-chain crankless order book is gonna be used for spots, futures, options, and other trading instruments. Thus, AF brings similar to CEX user experience into decentralized platform which can potentially result in huge user inflow.

Derivatives

Consisting of Perpetuals, Options & Structured Products, derivatives provide real yield, leverage, hedging and volatility trading opportunities.

You’re probably aware of how popular perps nowadays are. We’re excited to see its performance on Sui!

Testing the protocol

The protocol runs both on devnet & testnet, so you have chance to test some of its functionalities already, such as providing liquidity or stacking – TRY NOW.

However, we’d like to highlight one particular – staking of Capys.

Stake Capys

When a Capy is staked, it becomes locked for a certain period of time before it can be unstaked. The epoch time for staking currently differs between the testnet and devnet: the testnet has an epoch time of approximately 24 hours, while the devnet has approximately 2.5 hours.

Breed Capys

Users can breed two of their favorite Capys – between those that are staked and those that are just in the wallet. When two Capys are bred, a fee is charged and split between all global staked Capy positions and the specific staked Capys that were bred.

Unstake Capys

After the staked position of a Capy has been unlocked, users can unstake their Capy and retrieve all fees generated from other users breeding Capys on the platform.

Overall, Aftermath Finance aims to provide a decentralized exchange for users to engage with and earn rewards through interaction with their Capys.

In order to celebrate the launch of our first product, we prepared a LONG EVENT with an ENORMOUS PRIZE POOL.

All members of our discord will be able to participate in regular raffles for a chance to win many prizes. We’ve asked builders on Sui to help us create a cool pool of rewards – from roughly 30 projects!

Currently, the platform is in the test phase. We noticed a few issues that need to be fixed. Among them is the main one – users don’t see approval of participation. It’s still recorded in the database tho, so it’s kinda a UX issue. We want to polish things before launching our long event. Stay tuned for the updates!

Future Plans

As we’ve mentioned at the beginning, we’d like to become smth more than a media project. Thanks to all of you, we managed to grow incredibly. Now we aim to deliver remarkable products and become respectful builders in the space.

Let’s become something of a cool OG community on Sui!

EZ-Fi is a leveraged yield farming protocol on Sui and Aptos. It involves three parties: Lenders, Yield farmers, and Liquidators. Lenders can lend assets to earn a higher lending interest rate. The interest comes from leveraged yield farmers and liquidity providers who borrow assets to yield farm and provide liquidity. Yield farmers and liquidity providers can perform leveraged yield farming on various asset pairs within various DEXes for higher APY and trading fees. Liquidators can perform liquidation on active positions at a 100% debt ratio for a chance to earn a 5% bounty incentive.

EZ Finance aims to address three market opportunities by offering high lending interest rates through leverage yield farming, a simple and convenient way for users to leverage their positions and earn a higher yield, and acting as a bridge for projects to bootstrap liquidity in their pools on selected AMM protocols. The platform continues to expand on new networks to support lending on various assets and integrate with more AMM protocols.

Yield Farming

EZ offers high yields on farming, but it also comes with risks associated with the volatility of assets. The platform has a strong pool screening and due diligence process to ensure that it offers high yields on quality pools from top DEXes, while maintaining high protocol security to protect users. To ensure high security and transparency, the platform has multiple audits from top-tier auditors, operates under a non-anonymous team and more insurance options are coming. To enhance the quality of farming experience, the platform has certain criteria for listing new pools and assets such as:

• Assets should have supported price feed from shortlisted oracles & popular trading pools from top DEXes with strong demand;

• New pools should have high liquidity, high trading volume; tokens in the asset pairs should have high circulating market cap, low volatility, certain degree of decentralization and a track record of presence in the market for a decent amount of time.

EZ Finance allows users to begin yield farming with just one type of asset. It gives the option to supply any combination of assets, without having to supply an equal amount of assets for a liquidity pool as in traditional yield farming. This brings customized yield strategies which can suit any market conditions. Moreover, flexible borrowing of multiple assets allows users to hedge their positions on EZ-Fi and farm even in a bear market. Existing LP providers can easily migrate their position to EZ-Fi by supplying in the LP token, as long as the pool is already listed on EZ-Fi.

Alpha Oracle Aggregator uses top-tier cross-chain oracle services to ensure accurate price feeds and stability for the platform even when one oracle service is out of sync.

Potential risks

One of the risks is impermanent loss, which occurs when the price of one token in a liquidity pool changes in comparison to the other token.

Another risk is liquidation, which happens when the value of the collateral assets is less than the value of the borrowed assets. Additionally, there is a risk of price slippage when using the advanced farming mode, where users can choose to borrow multiple assets and decide the percentage shares of the borrowed assets in the liquidity pool. If not chosen carefully, it can result in high price slippage.

EZ-Fi offers solutions to mitigate these risks such as opening positions on pools with tokens that move in correlation with one another, making sure the value of collateral assets is higher than the value of borrowed assets and choosing the right percentage shares of borrowed assets in the advanced farming mode.

Lending

Lending on EZ-Fi allows users to supply assets into a lending pool for leveraged yield farmers to borrow. Lenders earn a lending APY from the borrowing interest rate paid by leveraged yield farmers. ibTokens specific to the underlying asset are generated to represent user's stake in the pool and accrue lending interest over time. Lenders don't bear risks from impermanent loss and liquidation, but share the risk of illiquidity of the pool. EZ-Fi mitigates this risk by partnering with other lending protocols or liquidity pools to adopt the Triple-slope Interest rate model to incentivize a healthy utilization ratio.

Hedge farming

Neutral Hedge Strategy is a farming strategy that takes a long and short position in an asset pair simultaneously to minimize the effect on your portfolio when the asset’s price fluctuates. It aims to provide a positive profit when the price change against the current asset is between -35% ~ 50%, and the longer the money is deposited, the wider the margin of safety is. However, it has a maximum drawdown of 10% and may not increase in value as much as Leveraged Yield Farming when token prices increase significantly.

Rebalance

Auto-Rebalance Vaults are a type of investment strategy that utilizes a market-neutral approach by combining a long and short position in an asset simultaneously. This allows for potentially high returns while minimizing portfolio risk when the asset's price fluctuates. The EZ-FI Auto-Rebalance Vault specifically automates the process of rebalancing these positions to maintain neutral exposure, and it does not have any liquidation risk. Additional features of the EZ-FI Auto-Rebalance Vault include one-click deposit, ease of use, and an auto-rebalance strategy based on sufficient back-testing.

PDN

The Pseudo-Delta Neutral (PDN) strategy is a market-neutral approach that combines a long and short position in an asset simultaneously in order to minimize the effect on the portfolio when the underlying asset's price moves. This strategy aims to increase capital utilization rate and profits by providing liquidity and being rewarded with yields in DeFi, while minimizing the risk of liquidation in the volatile crypto market.

PDN Imbalance Ratio is a metric that measures deviation of a position from market-neutral status by comparing the amount of an asset held in the total position to the amount of the asset held as debt. It helps to identify if the position needs to be rebalanced to maintain market-neutrality.

Summing-up

At the moment, the EZ website is only working in test mode, however we can say that this DEFI platform in theory have very rich functionality and can find its end users.

Btw, tokenomics is known. Roughly half of the tokens is reserver for liquidity mining & ecosystem. Hmmmmmm.

WispSwap positions itself as Decentralized Exchange Built For Everyone. Let's try to figure it out whether this project is really worth our attention!

The first thing that WispSwap promises us is to provide a low commission compared to other DEXs. This will happen through four crucial components, such as:

• Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker (CLMM) – providing a large depth of liquidity pool while spending little capital;

• An insurance pool from Impermanent Loss (IL) where liquidity providers receive 2% as coverage per day;

• Decentralized Limit Order Book (DLOB) – is the order book of centralized exchanges we used to know, but in a decentralized manner. It results in much faster order execution speed, while many scalable liquidity paths are achieved;

• Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) – launch of the $WISP token, and creation of decentralized governance of the platform by active users.

Why SUI?

As the creators of WispSwap assure us, they chose SUI because of the reputation of the team (Meta, Diem) & the advantage of parallelizing transactions, what allows them to achieve incredible order execution speed and scaling. The gas fee, which will be fixed every epoch, i.e. 24 hours, is the icing on the cake.

Separately, it is worth adding a few words about the Wisp-Prediction function. We’ve seen something similar in protocols like PancakeSwap and others. It’s something of risky derivatives itself, so please be aware before gambling.

Roadmap

At the end of December WispSwap posted their roadmap, consisting of four main stages:

• Preparatory – includes testing and feedback from the community;

• Launch Phase – deploy WispSwap on the Sui mainnet, basic TRADE, FARM and STAKE functions;

• Build Phase – add DLOB, update existing features, community voting & various API;

• Expansion phase – add fully conceived functionality, including lending.

Focus on community

The team focuses on communication with the community. According to them – your interests are their priority.

There is no info about potential rewards yet, but there is an active CREW3 PROGRAM which might help you become eligible for something in the future.

The competition in the field of DEXs on the SUI blockchain is quite tough. However, WispSwap has a good chance to succeed if they implement their main features, really listen to the community and act even to the detriment of their own potential profit for the sake of users, which is quite rare in the crypto world.

Today, we’d like to cover one that has grown its name and reputation on Aptos first, now is entering Sui (confirmed?)

Introduction

Souffl3 [suːfleɪ] – an NFT marketplace & launchpad built on the Move programming language.

Combination of marketplace & launchpad brings possibility for founders to launch their collections in a pretty easy way. You, as a founder, need to send your application for review, providing the info about your team, project, socials, etc. If you’re legit and don’t play any dirty games, you’ll most probably be accepted.

Unique features

However, all these are quite common for us. Let’s have a look at something special the Soufll3 team brings us.

Freelaunch

The idea is simple – Souffl3 allows founders launching their collections totally for free. You, as a founder, don’t need to write a single code of smart contract; everything you need is integrated already.

However, there are a special procedure and requirements need to be passed:

1. Project’s twitter should have at least 2,000 subs;

2. The total supply of your collection can’t exceed 5,000;

3. The price can’t exceed a specified amount;

4. The 3-days community review should be passed – more about that below.

In order to add additional layer of protection to the users, Souffl3 introduces this program – once the mint site is set, it will be reviewed by the community during 3 days. The community will discuss and evaluate the upcoming mint, share their thoughts and connect with the creator. If any offense, scam, potential IP infringement, etc. are detected, the mint will be terminated.

The 2nd layer of protection is a lock-up of funds raised during the mint. Only 10% of the sales can be released during the first day, while the rest are subject up to 10 days vesting.

It’s nice to see the team tries to do everything they can to protect their users. However, it’s worth mentioning that none of such mints guarantee any profitability. All decisions upon you, and we encourage to always DYOR before pressing the buy button ;)

Bake off is a special game aims to bring fun and cool rewards to active community members.

How it’s gonna work:

1. Collect ingredient NFTs through different ways (daily tasks, airdrops, secondary market, etc.)

2. Bake an NFT using 5 ingredients from step 1.

3. Every time you bake, you’ll get various rewards, including: WL, tokens, NFTs, ingredients, etc.

Moreover, the Souffl3 team took care about its community by implementing special type of ingredients:

Each ingredient has 10 HP; each baking consume 1 HP of each ingredient. If you run out of HP, you can no longer use the ingredient. Thus, having a possibility to use the same ingredient for multiple times results in efficient gas savings.

SuiNS – Sui Name Service

SuiNS – is a domain name service on Sui.

You know how it works – people buy domains to use them instead of unfriendly wallet addresses. It became de-facto standard in the crypto space. Obviously, it’s easier to remember your or friend’s nickname rather than a combination of random symbols.

SuiNS closed pre-seed round with participation of Mysten Labs. Another obvious thing – the Sui team will probably support the SuiNS domains upon launch of the mainnet.

We covered one of the most serious competitors in the previous article. It will be interesting to monitor what unique solutions and tools both team will bring to become the leading name service on Sui.

Clutchy – an NFT Marketplace

Clutchy – is one of the first native NFT marketplace on Sui, focusing both on gaming and community NFT projects.

In general, Clutchy offers possibility for founders to launch their collections on the marketplace. So there is no need in deploying a personal minting website + the collection can be immediately listed on the same marketplace.

It’s incredible what amount of partnerships the Clutchy team managed to conduct. And all these even without alfa or beta versions release.

The launchpad attracted massive attention, probably due to the fact they officially partnered with Mysten Labs in November.

Since a lot of information is not yet revealed, we wish nothing but success to the team and are excited to discover more features in the future.

We know there are some similar ones in the space… Why don’t we make things clear?

Introduction

SNS – is a project being built by giga enthusiast Anthony, a full-stack developer who has loved games from the childhood, now aims to build a gamified protocol by his own. Being doxed and having a registered USA-based company is kinda cool, isn’t it?

SNS – a community-owned decentralized identity platform. Think of it as a crypto analogue of Steam or Google accounts. Of course, built on Sui only.

The project is split into the phases and aims to build:

• A gamified Name Service on Sui;

• A decentralized profile platform (hmm, sounds like Link3 but on Sui?);

• An encrypted messenger;

• A community-oriented DAO;

• More to be revealed…?

Let’s go through the plans in details.

Phase 1 – Sui Name Service

You’re probably aware of the idea. Users can register a domain name which can be used instead of non-friendly wallet address. We saw it on Ethereum first, later on the other blockchains too. So what makes this protocol unique?

We guess the answer lies in the vision – the team is trying to build a truly community-owned protocol, making a strong accent on “community” every time (for real, even too much lol). At first phase, the team aims to:

• Build up the $SNS community;

• Release the name service & resolver extension;

• Raise enough funds to continue development.

Phase 2 – Profiles

At this stage, each owner of the “.sui” domain will have a web3 profile – a friendly way to display your NFTs or PFP, link you socials and… more features to be revealed.

Moreover, the JavaScript integration should be brought during this phase, which means potential partners will be able to integrate SNS as a way to “sign in” into their applications.

Quoting the team:

“This will allow partners to easily integrate our service with a variety of different applications and finally create the necessary infrastructure for some companies to create social-based products.”

Phase 3 – Services

Imagine a friendly extension where you can chat with your NFT folks directly using your “.sui” names. Completely encrypted and untraceable, btw.

There isn’t a lot of info yet, since this phase is quite far away. Probably, there will be more ideas on how to expand this social application.

Phase 4 – Governance

At first, quote:

“We are going to reward all of the people who have supported us thus far and helped make the $SNS a reality – the community.”

Now, details:

There will be SNS DAO and respectively – $SNS token. The interesting thing is that 25% of the total supply is dedicated to community (even more to contributors).

Summing-up

To be honest, we like the approach of SNS. Trying to build a community-oriented & gamified protocol seems to be the right way to spread crypto adoption and attract web2 users into web3.

Overview

Ballast is a DeFi infrastructure initiative built on Sui.

Sounds complicated, we agree. Let’s make it simple.

The goal of the protocol is, “to offer a complete trading suite solution on Sui.” It includes:

• AMM & Swap Interface (v1)

• Central Limit Order Book model (v2)

• Spot trading (v2)

• Perpetuals (v3)

• Options (v4)

As you might have noticed, Ballast is going to implement its features in some stages, starting from v1. Let’s cover one by one.

AMM (v1)

AMM on Ballast works using a well-known model – liquidity pools.

Short reminder:

Anyone can become a liquidity provider (LP) for a pool by depositing an equivalent value of each underlying token in return for pool tokens. These tokens track pro rata LP shares of the total reserves, and can be redeemed for the underlying assets at any time.

Liquidity providers earn fees on each trade – 0.25%, while 0.05% goes to the Ballast reserve pool.

Actually, most the functions are pretty similar to the Uniswap V2 approach.

Spot trading + Order book (v2)

Ballast’s main focus is to build the leading AMM first. However, as was said, the final goal is to create an ultimate DeFi solution. Here comes spot DEX with order book implementation.

Simply talking, they’re planning to create a friendly spot DEX with similar to CEX user experience. With this mechanism, users will be able to place on-chain orders as well as perform instant swaps. Actually, it’s more comfortable in relation to trading – you don’t need to rely on centralized exchanges and constantly monitor prices, comparing to a general DEX.

Perpetuals (v3)

Perpetual contracts are extremely popular in the crypto space. Since the success of GMX on Arbitrum, we can definitely say – decentralized platforms allowing user to trade perps are a must. Moreover, since the recent collapse of FTX, users are tending to find the ways for trading and storing their assets other than CEXs.

Plans: support leveraged trading, cash settlements, and multi-collateral features.

Options (v4)

Options in crypto are not as popular as perps at the moment, but we believe it will attract more and more attention as the crypto space evolves.

There isn’t much info about the plans, so we’re just quoting the team:

“The goal of Ballast in terms of options trading is to provide a decentralized platform for their operation and to ensure a convenient and easy-to-use foundational block for well-versed, expert traders and as well as novel traders. Ballast will support partial collaterization for options.”

Summing-up

We have to admit – the project is on its earliest stage. There is no devnet or testnet running at the moment. However, with the recent blog post, we can expect the release of Ballast v1 before the end of 2022. Moreover, there is an incentive for early adopters – check here.

We’ve reviewed a couple of wallets already, and every time we try to highlight unique peculiarities of each one. Martian is no exclusion.

Overview

Martian Wallet – a self-custodial wallet for Aptos & Sui. It’s used to store, manage and transfer assets, including tokens & NFTs. Currently, only the web version is available. A mobile app is coming soon.

While some wallets are still on development stage, Martian has been operative on Aptos for several months already.

That’s actually not the only thing which brings trust from its core users. The Martian team closed a $3M pre-seed round in October.

Features

As long as the Sui network is still in the testnet phase, we’d like to cover some features Martian Wallet integrated on Aptos, and probably will integrate on Sui in the future.

Integrated Swaps

Integrated swaps became a de facto standard for the top players of the industry, we’d say. It’s great to see Martian matches these criteria too. In simple words – it’s done by integrating various protocols directly in the interface of the wallet. Thus, you get a variety of routes in your friendly wallet.

Integrated Marketplace

This feature, which Martian recently integrated, is one of a kind in the industry. At least, we haven’t seen anybody did so before.

With the integration of Topaz marketplace, you can buy NFTs of different collections directly in your wallet, just in few clicks.

Summing-up

As the development of the Sui network progresses, each protocol progresses and integrates new features as well. Hopefully, there is enough time for builders to test, polish and build cool projects before the Sui mainnet is released.

We believe Martian still have something in their sleeves to surprise us in the future. For now, we encourage you do not rely on our or anybody’s else opinion only, but to download and try the wallet by your own. Without doubts, it’s the best way to find the one which fits you best.

Concept

Cosmocadia is a play-and-earn community-based farming game – farm; buy and sell resources; own lands; build furniture, buildings & different items; participate in various events; and have fun with your community and friends! The game is planned to be available on both web and mobile platforms.

According to the team, the main goal is to build a fun game; blockchain thing goes after that.

Since it’s gonna be a play-and-earn game, there will be 2 main NFT collections heavily integrated in the game – the Avatar Genesis collection & Private lands.

However, at some stage there will be a possibility to play totally for free – users will be able to obtain both avatars and lands, so the gameplay shouldn’t vary a lot.

Genesis NFT Avatars

Total supply: 11,111

“An NFT avatar is needed to play the game until free-to-play is added at a later development stage. NFT avatars have different physical traits with several varieties that specify their rarity.”

The traits differ not only visually, but effect the gameplay as well. The more rare it is, the more perks it brings:

• Increase the chance of getting rare NFTs in the future drops;

• Short the production time of items;

• Short the growth time for crops & trees;

• Increase quantity of harvested crops & fruits;

• More to be revealed.

Moreover, these avatars can act as NPCs doing some tasks on your land while you’re offline. As more avatars you have, as more parallel tasks can be executed. However, this feature won’t be available upon launch, but will be integrated at some later stage.

As was said, there will be 2 types of lands: public & private. While public lands will be free, private lands will be NFTs which grant you several perks:

• Decorate on your own way;

• More to be revealed.

Owning a land allows you to build a variety of buildings: dungeons, bars, shops or a maze to interact with your friends and carry out some funny events.

Free-to-play gameplay

We know many players prefer not to invest in a game, at least until they try it. Once again, there won’t be a possibility to try the game on its early stage, so you have to wait until the free-to-play version is released. For now, we can familiarize with the future procedures. The Cosmocadia team greatly explained it in their docs:

“New players that do not have an avatar NFT imported when opening the game are given access to a selection of free avatars to choose from. This free non-NFT avatar cannot be traded on any marketplace and does not have any benefits, unlike their NFT counterparts.

Players using a non-NFT character can play the entire game. Free-to-Play players can join in on events and earn rewards including NFTs and Tokens through their contributions. When playing with a non-NFT avatar, all NFTs and other on-chain items are off-chain until a purchase has been made. They can also join people’s private land, or work on their own, although private land is an NFT that has to be bought or rented. When a player, both Free-to-Play or NFT, opens up the game, the controls are always briefly shown.”

Play-and-earn gameplay

There will be various ways for players to receive on-chain rewards while playing the game:

• Be a top contender during events:

Participate in events and earn maximum of available rewards.

• Achievement system:

Earn various rewards by progressing through the game: items, NFTs & tokens.

• Login rewards:

Simply play on a daily basis and receive appropriate rewards: items, NFTs & tokens.

• Rent out land:

Rent your land and receive some % of the rewards generated by a player.

• Rent out avatars:

Having several avatars? Rent some and earn even more rewards.

• Offer your services:

If you’re a baron with multiple lands who doesn’t want to spend hours on taking care of things – just find a player who will do so. Pay him well, and both of you are happy.

One more thing before we finish. The game is being built by the studio called Lucky Kat, an experienced team of mobile game developers with more than 200M downloads.

In this article, we would like to highlight its specifics & vision.

Brief overview

We’ve seen several teams building a native web3 wallet on Sui including the official team. In general, all of them have the same goal – provide users with a friendly tool to manage their assets, NFTs and interact with various DApps on the Sui network.

So, what can you do with Suiet Wallet?

• Send/receive any token on Sui;

• Mint, monitor and manage your NFTs;

• Access DApps directly;

• View transaction history.

We have to agree – all of the above is pretty common. So let’s focus on unique features instead!

Suiet’s features

But before, I’d like to share my first impression using Suiet. As an experienced crypto user, I’ve tried many web3 wallets across many chains. And I remember this great vibe of trying Phantom wallet on Solana for the first time. While MetaMask was kinda buggy and slow, Phantom was extremely smooth, and UX was great. I got similar feeling when installed and tried Suiet wallet, honestly.

That was a short off-top. Now let’s name the features:

The Suiet team decided not to track any information from its users. We’d like to quote the team:

This is definitely a great move towards solid reputation.

Biometric

It’s weird, but we don’t remember any web3 wallet integrated touch-ID verification before (except of mobile apps). Suiet Wallet did, btw.

Personally tried & tested several times – quality approved; prompt and without bugs.

It seems the Suiet team is building a solid product, treating its users with high level of care. While the Sui network is still in the testing phase, Suiet continuously improves its wallet, integrates new features and expands through the partnerships. Ethos Wallet – a non-custodial wallet built to allow users discovering apps, games, and NFTs on Sui. A web version is available already, while a mobile app is coming!

On November 8, the team announced their APIs became public. Everyone building on Sui can integrate Ethos Wallet. Moreover, dApp devs can list their app on the Wallet Explorer.

We have to admit, there are many projects are being built on Sui right now thanks to massive hype of funding rounds and rumors on potential airdrops. Many of them are built by anonymous teams. Thus, being an official partner of Mysten Labs (a team building Sui) brings much more confidence and trust from its core users and developers.

Customizable

In our opinion, customization and flexibility is quite important in respect of UX & UI. We don’t feel the Ethos team has any issue with this either.

At first, they allow users to choose the way they like to sign up:

• Using email;

• Import or create new wallet using seed phrase.

It seems like both web2 & web3 users can easily start using Ethos Wallet.

Secondly, you’re allowed to customize your name & color used to indicate your wallet – it could be useful to separate them if you have more than one. And dark/light mode is here too! It may seem obvious, but some wallets still have an issue with it.

Functionality

Currently, Ethos Wallet operates on Sui devnet.

There are several features you can test right now, including:

• Play well-known games, but now on-chain: 8192, chess or checkers;

Please note, you need to find an opponent to play the last two games.

• Mint your unique NFT;

• Perform some test transactions to a friend’s wallet or your own.

Summing-up

As EVM chains have several web3 wallets like Metamask, TrustWallet or C98, Sui is no different. It doesn’t mean only one should succeed. Instead, they expand the user base allowing to choose which features, design or UI fits you best.

Today, we will cover one of the first DEX called MovEX. What is Hybrid liquidity DEX, ILO and Intelligent Liquidity Management? Let’s find out together in a simplified manner. Without further ado, dive!

Introduction

MovEX – a community-driven DEX built to provide the best trading and liquidity provision experience for users and project developers.

As we well know, no any chain can sustainable exists without its native DEX. Ethereum has Uniswap, Polygon has Quickswap, Cosmos has Osmosis and so on. But building a general DEX based on AMM doesn’t surprise masses in 2022. So let’s have a look at how the MovEX team combines both the AMM and the order book mechanisms to achieve the ultimate user experience.

Main features

Short recap for non-experienced users:

AMM – Automated Market Maker; is a type of decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that relies on a mathematical formula to price assets. Basically, there is a Liquidity Pool (LP) which contains two different assets (ETH/USDC f.e.) When you perform a swap on an AMM-based DEX, you simply exchange one asset to another from a pool. Once the swap is performed, the proportion in this particular pool is changed. Thus, the price changes too.

Order book – a real-time updated electronic list of buy and sell orders. That’s how centralized exchanges (CEX) normally works.

As was said, MovEX combines both AMM and order book creating Hybrid liquidity DEX.

Hybrid liquidity DEX

Internally, MovEX has a settlement engine that distributes orders between AMM and order book, guaranteeing both minimal slippages for traders and fairness for liquidity providers.

Concentrated Liquidity AMM – this idea has been used in Uniswap V3 since May 2021. It presents the possibility for liquidity providers to choose the range where their liquidity will be used. This results in reducing impermanent loses (IL), deeper liquidity within certain price ranges and higher rewards for LP providers.

From the order book mechanism, MovEX integrates advanced orders: limit orders, stop-loss orders and take-profit orders. By submitting a limit order, the user essentially serves as a liquidity provider and earns LP rewards once his/her orders are filled. Thus, a user as a trader gets similar to CEX user-friendly experience but on the decentralized platform.

Initial Liquidity Offering

MovEX is not only DEX, but a go-to solution for developers to raise funds through Initial Liquidity Offering (ILO). Simply talking, ILO is a service to conduct customized token sales using models like: Dutch auctions, Bucket auctions and liquidity bootstrap pool (LBP).

There are some pros of using ILO instead of other types of token sale:

1. MovEX allows project owners to select time periods, price ranges and auction algorithms;

2. The collected stable coins will be automatically paired with project tokens to form a liquidity pool after the token sale event;

3. Intelligent liquidity management service will take control and automatically manage the liquidity pool for the project owners.

Quoting the official team:

“We help project builders avoid the hustle of manually adjusting liquidity and boost their capital efficiency and market-making returns.”

Intelligent Liquidity Management

The last but not least Intelligent Liquidity Management is a special engine designed to optimize your capital used to provide liquidity on MovEX. It automatically adjusts your liquidity according to market conditions for better capital efficiency and market-making returns. Every user, as well as those participated in ILO, is able to use this engine.

Summing-up

Being the first normally means “win everything.” MovEX has everything to become the leading DEX of the Sui network, providing they will bring what we’ve mentioned into life.

However, we have to note that many concepts are still under development and can’t be tested right now. There is no much information about its roadmap and team either.
