What is Scroll Canvas?

Scroll Canvas is a brand new platform which is a part of an onchain campaign hosted by Scroll L2 - a robust Ethereum rollup network that is aimed to provide the most scalability possible for crypto enthusiasts and blockchain builders.

All participants of Scroll Canvas campaigns can receive special Badges. These are non-transferable assets that serve as a proof of the users’ achievements, reputation and activity on the network. How to Mint SyncSwap Badge on Scroll?

The process of minting and collecting Scroll SyncSwap Badges includes several steps:

• First thing first, visit the Scroll Canvas page to get started. There you should either insert the code to decrease the fee (35HJ2) or simply proceed further;

• The system will ask you to state your Username. It will be stored on-chain, and you can change it later, so no worries about your .eth name;

• Then, browse the collection of the badges you can mint and collect. Scroll left to find the SyncSwap Badge;

• Now, it’s time to secure that Badge and prove your on-chain achievements!

  Depending on the Badge terms, complete the required task via the SyncSwap.

There are three badges that you can mint and get into your collection:

• SyncSwap Lucky Trader - This badge is rewarded to early SyncSwap users on Scroll who have made one or more swaps for more than $450.

• SyncSwap Stargazer - This badge is rewarded to early SyncSwap users on Scroll who have one or more liquidity position over $1000.

• SyncSwap Master - This badge is rewarded to early SyncSwap users on Scroll who have one or more liquidity position in SyncSwap Aqua Pools over $1000.

Q: I can’t mint the first badge to enter the canvas. What should I do?

A: Firstly, check if you have switched the network in your wallet to Scroll (MetaMask users) or connected your Scroll wallet successfully. Also, the amount of funds to mint the Badge in your wallet should be equal or greater than 0.001 ETH, as it would stop you from claiming one.

Q: The system says that my SyncSwap Canvas Badge cannot be minted. Is there a problem on my side?

**A: **General troubleshooting should be applied: make sure you have enough funds for the fee to mint your Badge, review the eligibility requirements (if your task was completed). If the problem still occurs, visit our Discord community to ask for assistance.

Q: Are these Badges equal to any type of the tokens?

A: According to Scroll, the Badges are non-transferrable and are not equal to NFT or tokens that you can exchange.

Introducing Loyalty Program

The loyalty program aims to incentivize trades and help maximize profits for traders. Traders will be rewarded with the non-transferable SyncSwap Loyalty Token - ySYNC.

Based on volume, the more trading fees generated, the more rewards. Earned ySYNC can be converted to veSYNC tokens periodically.

You will automatically receive 1 ySYNC for every $1 generated in trading fees.

Genesis epoch is here!

The loyalty program will start with a Genesis Epoch (Epoch 01).

The genesis epoch starts before the token generation event (TGE) of the SYNC token and will keep running until after the TGE is completed (the full launch).

The purpose of the genesis epoch is to bootstrap the early incentive for traders and potentially increase the earning of liquidity providers before the SYNC token is available.

• What does the badge for?

  Galaxy OAT (On-chain Achievement Token) is a digital badge standard to record your on-chain and off-chain life experiences. The testnet badge is considered a record for early participants and supporters of SyncSwap.

• I can’t join the Guild. The link shows 404 / errors.

  Please try to request a new link if you can’t open the link. You have to switch to the Ethereum mainnet when joining the guild.

• What is the duration of the campaign? Can I claim after the campaign end?

  The campaign will last for one month, from 23 July to 22 Aug. Note that you will NOT be able to claim anymore after the end date.

  The event may end early under exceptional circumstances, for example, a network re-genesis.

• Can I trade the badge?

  The badge is in the ERC721 standard. It’s possible to trade them on OpenSea or other NFT markets, but we do not encourage that.

• Why can’t I get the Testnet Badge Holder role?

  You can get the Testnet Badge Holder role after claiming your OAT. Please check it on the #rules channel. Note that the bot may have delays, usually in a few hours.

• I can’t claim from the faucet.

  The faucet at the zkSync portal is running by the zkSync official, you can use the alternative ETH faucets for the Goerli testnet if it does not work.

To maximize your donation impact, you have to complete several verification procedures to bring your trust bonus up to 150%.

Why maximize your impact is important?

In Grants Rounds (GRs), your donation will be able to match extra funds from the Matching Pool, the amount you matches will depend on your impact.

Thus the project you donated can receive additional funds from your contribution!

Here are some recommended verification methods for you:

• SMS / Google / Twitter / Facebook (+15% each)

  These social media verification methods are relatively easy.

  Note that you need 100 followers for the Twitter verification, and you can skip it if you don't.

• POAP / ENS (+25% each)

  You can verify by simply inputting your wallet address if you have a POAP or ENS.

Once you found a grant that you are interested in. You can click the Add to Cart button on the right side of the page, to add the grant to your cart.

You can choose your desired amount and currency to contribute in the Amount/Currency section.

Your Total Contribution is an estimation of how much the project will receive from your contribution.

You only need to pay the Matching Pool Contribution + Grant Contributions.

Therefore, you can choose the network to check out. We recommend zkSync (1.0) or Polygon to lower the gas cost.
