Hey guys! Journey to learn everything about Taiko continues!

Airdrops are more popular than ever and show no signs of slowing down. The reason is simple: everybody loves free stuff! But airdrops are like books, after you complete them, you often feel kind of empty.Well, not with Trailblazers, you won’t! Let’s learn about it and see why it is so popular.

TAIKO Tokens Keep Coming, and They Don’t Stop Coming

Trailblazers is unique because it’s a continuous program. You can earn rewards every three months! After each season, the leaderboard resets, and participants start earning points again to reach the top. This means many more seasons are yet to come, giving you plenty of chances to earn rewards over and over!

The best part? Rewards come in TAIKO tokens. As the value of Taiko grows, so does the value of the airdrop! If you believe in Taiko and its Based principles, Trailblazers is the program for you.

How Can I Participate?

It’s simple: you earn XP by engaging with the Taiko mainnet. Taiko mainnet is an L2 Based Rollup on top of Ethereum—cool, accessible, and easy to use. You can find many bridges on Taiko’s Ecosystem page.

Once you’re on Taiko mainnet, the possibilities are endless! Swap, play a game, or lock Taiko tokens for extra XP on Lockdown Campaign—it’s all up to you. As long as you keep interacting daily, you’ll climb the leaderboard.

Check out the Trailblazers website to track your progress and stay up to date with the latest developments.

What Are Those Sweet NFTs?

Glad you asked! Trailblazers includes a multiplier system where you can gain extra XP and an advantage over other players. There are 24 unique NFTs to collect (not all are available yet). Don’t worry—this is optional and purely up to you. However, if you collect them all, you’ll gain a significant edge.

Additionally, there are Taikoons—the first and only NFT collection from Taiko—which also boost your points. Taiko has a detailed article explaining everything, so check it out before you get started!

And there you have it: Trailblazers! Are you in?

See you next time with another topic. Until then, stay Based!

Welcome to another edition of Learn with Intern! Today, we’ll explore the concept of multi-proof design in Taiko: what it is, why it matters, and how it benefits the ecosystem. Let’s dive in!

In one sentence, Multi-proofs are like having more than one way to prove things are safe. Extra layers of security for everyone.

What Is a Proof?

In blockchain, a proof is like a receipt that shows a transaction or computation has occurred correctly. These proofs ensure the network’s integrity and prevent fraud. Think of it as a stamp of correctness.

If the proof isn’t right, the system won’t trust it and things stop working properly.

What Is an SGX Proof?

SGX Proofs come from a special Intel technology called Software Guard Extensions (SGX). Imagine a super-secure room inside your computer where sensitive tasks can be done without anyone peeking or messing with them. That’s what SGX does!

In Taiko, these proofs are used to handle complex tasks outside the blockchain while making sure everything stays safe and correct. In short, Taiko uses SGX to do tricky work safely, so everything stays secure.

What Is a ZK-Proof?

A Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK-Proof) is like proving you know the password to a secret vault without actually revealing the password itself. For example, imagine a vault that only opens if the password is correct. You can show someone the vault opening to prove you know the password, but you never say the password out loud.

In Taiko, ZK-Proofs work similarly—they show that everything is correct without sharing all the details of how it’s done.

Taiko Has Multi-Proofs. But Why?

Recently, Taiko partnered with Succinct and RISC Zero to implement ZK proofs, adding to its existing SGX proofs. This upgrade marked Taiko’s transition to a multi-proof system. But why is this important? Well, it’s simple: more proofs mean more security and stability. Think of it like locking your house and also installing a security camera—some things are just worth the extra effort.

As we’ve discussed on Learn with Intern #1, Taiko uses Ethereum’s security to keep things safe, and multi-proofs make it even stronger.

What Does All This Mean for Users?

It is simply more security for users. Yeah. It is pretty neat. Users get more security and peace of mind. Pretty cool.

Thank you for reading Learn with Intern #2! We will be back with more soon! Until then, stay Based!

Greetings! As you've probably heard by now, Taiko is a Based Rollup. In fact, Taiko is THE first Based Rollup. But, like many things in the crypto space, it can sometimes get complicated. Well, not here! We’re here today to keep it simple and keep it moving. Let’s learn about Based Rollups.

Yes it is!

What is the Logic Behind a Rollup?

Let’s start with rollups and why we need them. Ethereum is cool but too many people want to use it. This demand makes it slower and more expensive. Think of it like a road: too many drivers cause traffic, and you need to pay for extra gas as a result.

In simple terms, rollups bundle a bunch of transactions together and then submit them to Ethereum. It’s like taking the metro: no traffic, and it’s much cheaper. You still get to your destination. Of course, there’s a trade-off. You don’t control the driving, and the stops might not take you exactly where you want to go. In this analogy, the system that determines the metro’s route is the centralized sequencer—and some people don’t like that. Ethereum doesn’t either.

So, what if you want things to be cheap and fast but still want control? What do you do? Well, drumroll please (or should I say Taiko roll?)—enter Based Rollups!

Based Rollups… What Do I Need to Know?

Some rollups have centralized sequencers that monopolize control, but what if they didn’t? What if things like block-building were open to everyone, just like Ethereum? With Taiko, they are.

Taiko is an Ethereum-equivalent Based Rollup. It’s as close as it gets to Ethereum in terms of functionality, making it the most compatible rollup with Ethereum. On top of that, Taiko doesn’t rely on a centralized sequencer. Instead, it uses Ethereum’s validators. This means Taiko opens itself up to community participation—just like Ethereum. And that’s the killer feature of Based Rollups: no centralized sequencer. Control belongs to the users.

Let’s illustrate with an example:

Ethereum is like using a manual film camera—fully under your control. You can adjust exposure, shutter speed, and everything else just the way you want, but developing the picture is slow and expensive.

Non-based Layer Twos are like instant cameras—fast and convenient, but a centralized system decides how your photo is taken. All you do is click. If you want more control, they’re probably not for you.

Taiko, as a Based Rollup, is like a digital camera—modern, fast, and easy to use. You can adjust settings like exposure and shutter speed, switch lenses, and when you’re ready, quickly share or print your photos.

With Taiko, you get speed and control. It’s truly the Based of both worlds.

Based Rollups & Taiko’s Vision for the Future

Because it gives control to users, Based Rollups thrive on decentralization. This is why Based Rollups are a perfect match for Taiko. The shared philosophy of building something that can’t be evil and is controlled by many defines Ethereum & Taiko relation.

And there you have it: Based Rollups!

See you next time with another topic. Until then, stay Based!
