Proof of Skill, Not Proof of Stake
A decentralized coordination platform connecting talent, innovation projects, and funding within university-centered innovation ecosystems. Build your verifiable on-chain resume through demonstrated contributions.

In Proof of Stake, you earn governance power by locking up capital.

The more tokens you stake, the more authority you accumulate.

Trust = what you're willing to risk financially.

We inverted that.

---

PoS: TEC stands for Proof of Skill: Tecnológico de Monterrey.

It's a Hybrid DAO built for the Distrito de Innovación Monterrey — one of Latin America's most resource-rich university innovation ecosystems. 20,000+ students. 3,000 faculty. Active corporate partners. Real capital looking for real projects.

The problem isn't a lack of talent, funding, or ideas.

The problem is that all three live in separate silos with no infrastructure connecting them.

Students build things that disappear from their CV the moment they graduate.

Companies recruit blind, relying on resumes instead of verified contributions.

Sponsors fund programs and get a PowerPoint at the end. They call it impact.

PoS: TEC is the coordination layer that's been missing.

→ Students stake skill, not capital. Every validated contribution mints a Soulbound Token (ERC-5192) — non-transferable, permanently on-chain, building a resume no institution can revoke.

→ Companies post challenges and lock USDC into smart contract vaults. Funds release automatically when milestones are validated. Not an unpaid internship dressed as a competition.

→ Faculty serve as Human Oracles. Nothing moves without their cryptographic signature. Their institutional authority is the bridge between the centralized and decentralized layers.

→ Sponsors stop counting events. They measure Return on Talent:

(Validated SBTs + Challenges Resolved + Partnerships Formed) ÷ Capital Deployed

Governance isn't simple token voting either. Voting Power = Base Role Weight × Reputation Multiplier × Token Participation. Influence is earned through contribution, not purchased through accumulation.

In Proof of Stake, trust is established by what you're willing to risk financially.

In Proof of Skill, trust is established by what you're willing to build and demonstrate.

PoS: TEC does not require participants to trust the system.

It makes the system worthy of trust by design.

---

This is a project by Team 01, Blockchain and NFTs Applications — EGADE Business School, Grupo 60.

Whitepaper dropping soon.
