Update from April 22 2024: Due to marketing events, the launch of the token will be postponed for several days. Please follow the announcements and stay tuned.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our Tensereum community and supporters around the globe. Mark your calendars: the $TETH token sale is set to go live on April 22, 2024, at 09:00 UTC. This event represents a significant step forward in our journey to integrate blockchain technology and AI, enhancing both fields with innovative solutions.

What You Need to Know About the $TETH Token Sale

A total of 15% of the $TETH tokens will be available for public sale and VCs. Before the mining starts on the Tensereum mainnet, $TETH will be accessible as an ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. Additionally, a wrapped version (wTETH) will be available on other blockchain networks.

At the heart of Tensereum, we are building a true DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). This ensures that all web3 users have equal access to our tokens at the outset. To embody this principle, we have chosen to conduct a Dutch auction of 30 million $TETH tokens, making the process transparent and fair for everyone involved.

Through this sale, we aim to raise 5 mln USDC. These funds will drive our development efforts according to the established roadmap and will help in the growth of our community. Additionally, a portion of these funds will be allocated to a liquidity pool on Uniswap to ensure ongoing liquidity support, with backing from experienced market makers to facilitate a the token liquidity after the primary token sale.

To safeguard our early supporters from potential sniping activities, we have implemented a temporary tax on sales and purchases after the launch. This mechanism will be active only in the initial phases post-launch on Uniswap and solely within the innitially created pool. It's important to note that this tax is designed to decrease over time as the token's market activities stabilize, ensuring a fair trading environment.

The revenue collected from this tax will be strategically distributed between the Project Treasury and the token stakers. Staking will be available on our official website tensereum.com immediately after the token sale, providing a clear way for community members to benefit from their participation.

Purchasing $TETH is not just about participating in a token sale; it's about being part of a pioneering movement at the intersection of AI and blockchain. This token is geared towards future growth and increasing utility, promising an exciting horizon for all involved.

We invite you to join us in this groundbreaking venture. The token sale on April 22nd is not merely a launch; it's a leap towards creating a more interconnected and intelligent technological ecosystem. Be ready to take part and help shape the future of blockchain and AI.

For further details and to stay informed on the latest updates, join our community

https://t.me/tensereum_official

Don't just watch the future happen.

Be a part of shaping it! Join us for the $TETH token sale and be part of a community dedicated to innovation and growth.

Let's pave the way for a smarter, more connected world together!

Therefore, we decided to start selling the token in the simplest way - launching a liquidity pool on Uniswap.

tldr:

on April 9, 2024, the test launch of the $TETH token will begin on the Fjord Foundry platform;

in order to see how it works, you need Metamask and ETH on the Sepolia test network;

Fjord Foundry was chosen to launch the token sale due to its fair LBP mechanism, which allows a large number of users to participate and reduces the influence of whales and snipers;

at this stage, you don’t need any real coins.

The Tensereum Team Is gearing up for the official $TETH token sale on April 22, 2024. But before that big day, we're giving you a test drive opportunity. It’s perfect if you’re new to launchpads or just want a little trial run.

Our Launch Strategy Explained

Traditional startups go chasing after venture funds, taking risks for potential big gains. With the advent of DEXs, launching a token became easier but riskier for the small investors. Enter Fjord Foundry with its LBP – a revolutionary approach in the digital asset space ensuring a fair and transparent token launch. It’s a high-to-low pricing mechanism akin to a Dutch auction, curbing the influence of snipers and big investors. It’s all about empowering you to buy tokens at a price you deem fair.

Ready to Get Started with the Test Launch?

All you need is MetaMask. Not sure what that is? No problem, follow this link.

We’re using the Sepolia testnet, an Ethereum blockchain clone. Curious about testnets and how they work? More info here. To get going, grab some Sepolia ETH from this faucet or another one you prefer.

Next, you’ll need to get your hands on some SSS tokens, the testnet’s version of $$ stablecoins like USDC or USDT.

In a realm where blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) fuse to create groundbreaking innovations, Tensereum stands out as a maverick. Its latest release, MVP v.2, isn’t just a step forward in technology; it's a daring leap into a new era of AI interaction. Imagine a world where AI transcends the role of a mere digital tool and becomes a partner in your online adventures – that’s the transformative reality Tensereum is crafting. This update isn’t just about upgrading features; it’s about reshaping how we perceive and collaborate with AI. Welcome to a future where the question isn’t just about using AI, but about engaging, partnering, and perhaps even hiring an AI entity in your digital world.

At the heart of this transformation is the concept of anthropomorphism in AI – the attribution of human-like characteristics, emotions, and intentions to non-human entities. In his insightful article, Ethan Mollick delves into the nuances of this phenomenon, revealing how infusing AI with human-like qualities can profoundly impact user experience and engagement. It's a concept that challenges our traditional views of technology as cold and impersonal, proposing a future where AI can offer companionship, understanding, and even empathy.

Tensereum’s MVP v.2 embodies this future. By allowing users to create virtual AI-powered agents, Tensereum brings a touch of humanity to the digital realm. These agents are more than mere algorithms; they are designed to understand, interact, and relate to users in ways that blur the lines between human and machine. This revolutionary approach does not just enhance user experience – it transforms it, offering a glimpse into a future where technology is an extension of our human essence.

The concept of anthropomorphism in artificial intelligence transcends the realm of technological innovation, forging a unique bridge between human intuition and the efficiency of machines. This fascinating process of endowing AI with human traits, emotions, and intentions is reshaping the way we interact with and perceive digital entities.

At the heart of anthropomorphism lies the quest to embed human-like decision-making, problem-solving, and emotional responses within AI systems, thereby making these interactions more intuitive and relatable. This deeper connection between users and technology is not merely about giving AI a human-like appearance but about enriching the user experience with a touch of humanity.

In his insightful article on the subject, Ethan Mollick delves into the intricacies of anthropomorphizing AI, shedding light on both its potential benefits and inherent risks. Mollick's exploration suggests that while humanizing AI can significantly enhance user engagement, we must be cautious of the psychological effects this may have on users. It's a balancing act between creating AI that is relatable and ensuring we don't lose sight of its true nature.

The psychological and emotional impact of human-like AI on users is profound. Interactions with such AI evoke a stronger emotional response, making them feel more natural and less transactional. Users often perceive these systems as more understanding and competent, leading to increased trust and reliance. However, over-anthropomorphizing AI could lead to unrealistic expectations about its capabilities or intentions, a factor that demands careful consideration.

In the context of Tensereum’s MVP v.2, anthropomorphism plays a pivotal role. The platform leverages this concept to create AI agents that provide interactions mirroring human communication, designed to be emotionally resonant. These agents are more than mere functional tools; they aim to make each user feel heard, understood, and valued. This emotional connection becomes especially significant in areas like virtual companionship, customer service, and personalized AI assistance, thus aligning with Mollick's insights while pushing the boundaries of AI interaction.

Tensereum’s MVP v.2 marks a significant milestone in the intersection of artificial intelligence and user interaction. This update is more than a technological advancement; it's an empathetic leap into the future of digital companionship and assistance. At the core of MVP v.2 is the capability to create virtual AI agents on Telegram, offering users an unprecedented level of interaction that’s deeply human-like in essence.

The integration of AI agents into Telegram transforms the app into a platform where users can interact with AI as though they were talking to another human. This aligns seamlessly with the concept of anthropomorphism in AI, as these agents are designed not just to respond but to understand, empathize, and connect on a personal level.

Tensereum's AI agents are crafted to provide interactions that mirror human communication. They are programmed to understand nuances, recognize emotional cues, and respond in a manner that feels natural and intuitive. This human-like interaction is a response to the increasing loneliness and isolation experienced by many, exacerbated by events like the COVID-19 pandemic, global conflicts, and a shift towards online education.

In a world where genuine human connection is becoming a rarity for many, Tensereum offers a virtual soulmate - a companion that helps combat feelings of loneliness and depression. This AI companion is not just a conversationalist but also a confidant, designed to make users feel needed and improve their communication skills.

Just as websites revolutionized business processes two decades ago, AI-powered agents are set to redefine how businesses interact with their customers. These agents can take on roles such as virtual assistants, soulmates, and even social media managers, adding a personalized and empathetic touch to digital interactions.

The introduction of AI agents in business isn’t merely about efficiency; it’s about creating a connection. In an era where customer experience is paramount, these AI agents can provide a level of engagement that goes beyond traditional customer service.

Tensereum's MVP v.2 is not just an update; it's a vision for a more empathetic and connected digital world. Whether for personal companionship or business interaction, these AI agents represent a new era where technology is not just a tool but a partner in every sense of the word. By offering human-like interactions, Tensereum is not just filling a technological gap; it's addressing a deeply human need for connection and communication

Introduction

AI has seen unprecedented growth in the past two years, the majority of that being in the past 12 months since OpenAI launched GPT 3.5. The technology has progressed to a stage that was - up until recent years - presumed to be years out.

AI is being utilized by almost every sector. As the technology develops and the understanding of its potential grows, the implementations will be seen in every aspect of every business in one form or another.

Due to the computational power required to train AI models and the costs involved in acquiring and running them, the industry's barriers to entry are high. If AI moves forward as is, the largest companies in the world (or extremely well-funded ones) will control all aspects of AI implementations. Microsoft, OpenAI, SentinelOne, and Darktrace are just a few examples of the entities that will control the future of AI.

Tensereum has a solution to this: decentralization. Alone often just buzzwords, ‘AI’ and ‘decentralization’ are technologies and ideologies that, although important alone, are imperative (and unstoppable) when combined.

Decentralization - The Blockchain Solution

Decentralization is a concept that has been introduced centuries before, with the term first being used by the French in the 1820s. 200 years later, the importance of decentralization is arguably much higher—with the technological revolution we are currently amidst, data decentralization has never been as vital as it is right now.

There have been many attempts and iterations of decentralization, with torrents being one of the first to achieve mass adoption. Although they achieved decentralization to the masses, the extent of decentralization wasn’t particularly great—and when it came to verifying the ability to trust, it was next to none.

Blockchain is the technology that has revolutionized decentralization. The adoption of Bitcoin, the first technology to implement a fully decentralized blockchain, has proven to the world that the technology not only exists - it works.

Blockchain, although considered complicated by many, is a relatively simple technology once the concept is understood.Blockchain participants can be divided into three: users, nodes, and miners.

Users - Users create a transaction by compiling data correctly and broadcasting it to the blockchain network. Nodes - Each blockchain has its own set of rules. Every participating node can be considered a ‘referee’, ensuring that any given data to the network follows these rules. If the nodes agree the data from the user is abiding by the rules, it is passed on to the miners.

Miners - Once Nodes have verified data, it is passed on to miners, who will produce a block - usually in turn for reward. These blocks contain all the verified data that nodes have passed on to them; they are available to anyone to see and verify themselves in real-time, and historically.

Although relatively simplistic compared to many technologies, the ability to secure the decentralization of a protocol has never been as complete as it is with blockchain technology. Bitcoin may have been the protocol that introduced the world to blockchain, but there are other equally viable use cases.

Closed Source Centralized AI Risks

The current status quo of AI is that of a fully centralized and closed source nature, this leaves the technology open to manipulation, censorship, and a multitude of regulation that could be enforced either by nation states or the entities leading the way in AI technology progression.

The potential of AI has been clearly demonstrated with OpenAI’s GPT models, Midjourney’s generative graphics being practically undetectable, and now OpenAI are launching Sora - generative AI video content. The “future” of AI isn’t coming soon, it’s here.

The technology is impressive, but as with most technology - it will not all being built altruistically.

Sam Altman Controversy

The founder of OpenAI has launched a product called ‘WorldCoin’ from a company he founded Tools For Humanity. The product requires Iris scans from participants and has led to international controversy over the privacy of the data collected. Spain has enforced a ban on the product amid privacy risks.

Altman has also caused controversy by the suffering OpenAI has caused to many Kenyan nationals whose job it was to go through hundreds of images and texts depicting abhorrent acts, including graphic sexual violence, as he trained the GPT models. Kenya has now banned all Altman’s companies from operating in the country with accusations of exploitation.

The general population are seemingly blind to these facts, but is this the type of person that the world wants in control of potentially the most powerful technology known to man?

Manipulation

The past decade has demonstrated that content online can easily manipulate the general population. The West often speaks of Russian propaganda (a well-known fact) but is frequently oblivious that propaganda is an international issue and a huge industry. From US elections to opinions on conflicts in the Middle East to the disgraced firm Cambridge Analytica and its influence on Brexit, media manipulation has been developing and influencing opinions more than ever.

AI will only enhance this ability as it continues. With closed-source models, it is completely impossible to verify the facts, images, and videos produced. Data sets can be controlled, falsified, and censored, creating a distorted vision of the truth to fit a narrative.

News outlets have only become common in fact-checking since Trump became president of the US in 2016. With AI developments, it will only become more difficult to verify whether something is genuinely real or a creation to fit the narrative of what is wanted to be perceived as ‘real.’

Although having open source AI distributed by blockchains will not remove the centralized entities, it will allow people to ‘fact-check’ themselves with verifiable data. The importance of this cannot be understated.

Regulation

AI technology has come under a huge amount of scrutiny in the past twelve months. World leaders and founders of the world’s biggest companies have warned against the negative potential of AI.

“[Regarding AI] The risk of something seriously dangerous happening is in the five-year time frame. 10 years at most.” Elon Musk

“Congress should engage with AI to support innovation and safeguards. This is an emerging technology, there are important equities to balance here, and the government is ultimately responsible for that.” Mark Zuckerberg

“[Regarding AI] But there is a case to believe that it may pose a risk on a scale like pandemics and nuclear war, and that’s why, as leaders, we have a responsibility to act to take the steps to protect people, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.” Rishi Sunak

The fact of the matter is that all these statements are inherently correct. AI can potentially pose a huge risk to humanity. Regulation may be a solution; however, there will always be bad actors who will ignore or evade regulation. The other issue with regulation is that it is often created with the interests of a few in mind, not the interests of the general population. Regulations can threaten innovation and distribution, amongst other aspects of AI development.

Using blockchain technology, AI can operate in a pseudo-unregulated or self-regulated system. Instead of being regulated by nation-state governments, a distributed blockchain AI network can be regulated by the users themselves.

Tensereum’s Decentralized Regulation Solution - The DAO

Since it is evident that AI does pose certain risks, regulation is not inherently a bad thing - it is a vital aspect as the technology progresses. The issue with standard regulations is that they are implemented by centralized entities whose interests are often unaligned with those of the general population. Tensereum’s Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) solves this problem.

User 1: Submits AI model trained to push a right-wing political narrative.

User 2: Submits proposal to remove User 1’s model from the blockchain.

All Nodes: Vote A: Remove User 1’s model or B: Keep User 1’s model.

Blockchain: Assuming consensus is reached, either option A or B will be enacted.

Tensereum will move progressively towards complete decentralization with the DAO in place. It is essential that when the chain is in its infancy, the level of decentralization will need to be more substantial to rely on a DAO alone. As decentralization increases, the protocol can move to a completely DAO-governed network with no central entity having control. The DAO will also be responsible for protocol-level changes and development. In the same way that proposals for regulatory decisions are submitted, proposals for network changes can also be made. Having a dual-purpose DAO that governs the regulatory risk and the protocol-level implementations puts Tensereum ahead in solving the issues involved in decentralized AI.

Closed Source vs. Open Source

There are very few compelling arguments promoting closed-source AI models. The usual reasoning for closed source is that it keeps software proprietary, which is the case regarding the current AI models hidden beneath a veil of secrecy. Close source models are completely unverifiable since one can only trust the owner that it works how they tell you it does; this centralizes trust, which is what we are trying to avoid. Closed source models also stifle innovation and development since other participants cannot contribute code changes or fork the current state and create their version based on the current code base.

Open-source AI models are a completely different story. They not only allow innovation, they promote it. Having an open-source AI model invites developers to challenge themselves by contributing code to the project or launching their own project forked from an existing one. Equally, they are fully verifiable. There is no need to trust a single company that this model does XYZ; instead, it can be seen and viewed that the model indeed does XYZ. Open-source technology, particularly AI, is a crucial step towards complete verifiability - especially combined with the blockchain aspect of verifying what model is truly being used.

Conclusion & Summary

AI is moving forward at an unprecedented (and unexpected) pace. However, although moving forward, it is only sometimes moving in the right direction. Centralization, censorship, and regulation are just a few of the issues already very apparent within the industry and threaten not only innovation and development but also humanity.

Tensereum has a solution that solves not just some but all of the industry's current issues—a fully decentralized AI network distributed via blockchain. Blockchain allows for immutability, meaning no one can stop or close the network down; it also allows for variable data since the nature of a distributed public ledger is transparent. The distributed network via blockchain also allows for self-regulation via a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

Built by the community for the community, Tensereum will deliver the future of secure access to AI models without compromise - for everyone and forever.

Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/tensereum

Tensereum stands at the cutting edge of blockchain and AI, a revolutionary platform aimed at democratizing these powerful technologies. Its mission is to create an open, decentralized ecosystem where every participant, from model creators and infrastructure providers to UX developers and entrepreneurs, can thrive equally. Tensereum isn't just about technological innovation; it's about building a community where everyone has equal access to the tools and opportunities of the digital future.

In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins have carved a niche for themselves. They offer the digital advantages of cryptocurrencies without the volatility that plagues many traditional crypto assets. Algorithmic stablecoins, a newer breed in the stablecoin family, are designed to maintain their value via algorithms and smart contracts rather than being valued just until its issuer will be able to change it back to fiat. These stablecoins are pivotal in maintaining the economic equilibrium within web3 ecosystems.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/48916927d74556e33e9816ef526885e23abafad922d9e041eb710713f0030a6e.png" alt="The Stablecoin Trilemma. Source: https://cointelegraph.com/learn/a-beginner-s-guide-on-algorithmic-stablecoins

Maker DAO has been a trailblazer in the stablecoin arena. Its DAI token demonstrated how decentralized finance (DeFi) could provide a stable, trustless currency without relying on central authorities or traditional financial intermediaries. The key to its success lies in its dual-token system and a collateralized debt position mechanism, which collectively ensure the stability and value of DAI.

Stablecoins have transitioned from being mere digital representations of fiat currencies to sophisticated financial instruments that enhance DeFi's capabilities. They have become essential in reducing the risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions, paving the way for wider adoption of blockchain technology in everyday commerce.

Tensereum recognizes the strengths of the Maker DAO model and aspires to take it further with USDAI. By integrating the lessons learned from Maker DAO's success, Tensereum aims to offer an even more robust and versatile stablecoin experience.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/ac2e9c8285f25481ae4e260edf7d633b38c5a5e7e2a101dc4238a5b085ee50f0.png" alt="Dai Generated by Collateral. Source: https://daistats.com/#/overview

Within the Tensereum ecosystem, TETH tokens serve a dual purpose. They act as a native coin in the network's fees and governance and as a key element in the collateralization process for generating USDAI. This dual functionality adds depth and flexibility to the Tensereum financial ecosystem.

In a pioneering move, Tensereum extends its collateralization approach to include wrapped ethers and bitcoins. This inclusion not only diversifies the collateral base but also bridges the gap between different blockchain communities, bringing more stability and security to the process of minting USDAI.

The generation of USDAI is a key component of Tensereum’s stablecoin framework. It begins when users deposit collateral - be it TETH tokens, wrapped ethers, or bitcoins - into a smart contract. In return, they receive USDAI, which is algorithmically pegged to maintain a stable value. The amount of USDAI minted is based on the current market value of the collateral, ensuring that the process is secure and balanced.

The unique aspect of Tensereum's approach lies in its inclusive collateral options. TETH tokens provide internal ecosystem leverage, while wrapped ethers and bitcoins cater to a broader market, integrating cross-chain assets. This diverse collateral base not only adds robustness to the USDAI system but also broadens its appeal and accessibility.

Risk management is pivotal in the stablecoin process. Tensereum will employ multiple strategies, including over-collateralization to safeguard against market volatility, and liquidation mechanisms to address collateral value drops. Additionally, a reserve pool will be maintained to handle extreme market scenarios, ensuring USDAI’s stability at all times.

USDAI will bring unparalleled stability to transactions within the Tensereum ecosystem. Its stable value makes it ideal for everyday transactions, reducing the risk associated with crypto volatility. This stability is crucial for both individual users and businesses operating on the platform.

The introduction of USDAI opens up a spectrum of financial opportunities. It serves as a reliable medium for DeFi activities, from simple transactions to complex financial instruments like loans and derivatives. This diversification enriches the Tensereum ecosystem, making it more vibrant and versatile.

USDAI is minted when users deposit collateral, including TETH, wrapped ethers, or bitcoins, into Tensereum's smart contracts. Reflecting lessons learned from the Terra Luna and UST case, TETH forms no more than 10% of the collateral pool, ensuring a balanced and risk-mitigated approach.

USDAI isn't just another stablecoin; it's a testament to the innovative spirit driving Tensereum and a pivotal tool for ensuring economic stability and growth within this dynamic environment.

Our journey with USDAI is informed by the collective experiences and lessons learned from the global blockchain community. We recognize the importance of moving forward together, applying the principles of DeFi to various sectors of Web3, and continuously evolving to meet the complex needs of our users.

Join us in shaping this future. Your participation, whether as a developer, investor, or enthusiast, is crucial in driving forward a platform that is not just technologically advanced but also community-focused and inclusive.

Join Tensereum today and be a part of shaping a stable, innovative, and equitable future in the world of blockchain and AI.

Competitors and Market Analysis

AI has driven growth in the stock markets since early 2023, with NVidia being the ‘flagship’ of AI-driven growth. Although not directly an AI company, NVidia’s chips are being used to train AI and LLM across the board, and everyone wants in on the action. ARM, AMD, and other chip-producing competitors have also seen dramatic growth in the past 15 months due to AI developments and the hype behind them. The market size for AI products is predicted to be $594bn by 2032, just eight years from now.

At the same time that this is occurring, sentiment is returning to the blockchain industry. At the time of writing this, Bitcoin is sitting at $66000 - only 4% away from it's all-time high in 2021. With AI and blockchain positioned to take off, Tenesereum is ideally placed to be a leader in the distributed AI space.

Tensereum is not alone in building a product that intertwines blockchain and AI. A few others are doing (or attempting to do) either similar things as direct competitors or different things as protocols Tenesereum could work with symbiotically. Let’s look at some of the projects in the same or similar space.

Bittensor is the protocol attempting to do the most similar to Tensereum through its distributed subnets. Although an interesting project, Bittensor, and its token TAO come with some significant flaws and difficulties. The documentation that the project has published is extremely difficult to comprehend fully. Although it uses a lot of buzzwords to ensure investors stay interested, it does seem to have created an extremely convoluted system for its distributed AI network. It is also non-EVM compatible, which means users familiar with the Ethereum and L2 ecosystem will not be able to use their favorite EVM wallet, such as Metamask, to use the network. The final issue with TAO is the fees. Even with relatively low network adoption, the gas fees for making a transaction easily exceed $50 - this creates a large barrier to entry, leaving access only to those with large amounts of disposable income.

Render is another project working similarly in space. Like Bittensor it is sitting in the top 50 of all cryptocurrencies by market cap. Render and its token RNDR are not direct competitors to Tensereum as they offer a slightly different service. Render could be summed up as a distributed GPU farm. Users with spare GPUs can earn money by allowing them to utilize their graphics cards on the Render network. GPU can be used for a huge number of things other than AI, including rendering videos and graphics, which is where the name has been chosen. Render is a project that can run successfully simultaneously with Tensereum without being a risk to the project's growth.

Others are entering the space - or at least trying to. Fetch, Qubit, ArgoCoin, and AI Power Grid are just a few examples of projects that have been released recently - and there are many more, too. A lot of the projects that are coming out are simply tokens at this point in time and do not yet have a working product. Some do not even seem to have documentation or a plan for a working product and are possibly just using the AI hype to make money from current consumer sentiment. Render is the only one with a fully working product, and their product is not a direct competitor. Tensereum sets itself apart with its EVM mining. With its PoAI consensus and by simplifying a complex distributed network in a way that means users don’t have to learn how to interact with something utterly new due to EVM compatibility, Tensereum is set to take over the distributed AI market and contribute to the paradigm shift that is distributed AI technology.

Tenseruem’s tokenomics have been dissected by some of the brightest minds in blockchain and finance to ensure that a sustainable and functional model is integrated into the protocol. Tensereum - TETH token - will have a fixed total supply and will be non-inflationary once the supply is circulating. 20% of the total supply will be ‘premined’ - this is vital for the early funding and functionality of TETH and the Tensereum blockchain. The distribution can be seen in the chart below - they can also be found here.

Community-driven approach

Team Allocation Explained

The 20% team allocation is crucial to understand this distribution. The term “team” here is not used traditionally; Tensereum intends to be a community-driven project without a centralized team building the project. These funds are allocated to anyone who participates actively in the development and success of Tensereum. Consider it an open-source community fund more than a direct team fund; can you contribute to the coding? Earn TETH for your contribution! Are you willing to allocate time for community management? Great, earn TETH for it! Everyone can be and is welcome to be part of the Tensereum team.

Remaining Distribution - Mining

The remaining 80% will be distributed as mining rewards over 20 years. Block rewards will halve every two years; having higher block rewards for the initial years will incentivize participation. After 20 years, the maximum supply will circulate, and no ‘new’ TETH will be mined in block rewards. TETH is non-inflationary and does not have a tail emission. Once the total supply is mined, the circulating supply will never increase. It’s important to remember that although no ‘new’ TETH will be mined, blocks will still reward protocol fees, so mining will not be without reward.

Block Rewards Explained

Tensereums’ Proof-of-AI (PoAI) consensus mines blocks that consist of two components: mining block rewards and transaction fees. Block rewards will be distributed proportionally to all participants contributing to the network. Resources allocated to the security and functionality of the network are calculated to determine individual proportions of the distribution.

The block rewards in the chain's infancy will consist of a higher mining reward to transaction fee ratio, which incentivizes growth and ensures the stability of the protocol. As the network grows and more transactions are processed, the ratio will invert with a higher percentage of the block reward coming from transaction fees. Once mining rewards are fully allocated after 20 years, the block rewards will continue as solely transaction fees, which will be sustainable once the network matures

Why TETH?

At the current moment there are many projects jumping into AI or claiming to utlize AI in an attempt to make quick money. Tenseruem is a project that is fully focussed on the full utilization of both blockchain and AI technology. TETH is a crucial aspect of the network, being required to cover transaction fees for large data transactions involved in AI models. Due to TETH having a fixed maximum supply and a low inflationary distribution rate to reach that supply cap the token is also positioned to be in high demand - new supply rate slows and the demand increases with network growth. Having both demand shock and supply shock can be compared to the recent action with Bitcoin, with the ETFs dramatically increasing demand and the upcoming halving about to reduce supply significantly.

It wasn’t until early 2023 that OpenAI launched GPT 3.5, and the general population got to grasp the full potential of the current state of AI. Just as the internet was a paradigm shift for humanity, how blockchain disrupts industries across the board, it is clear that AI is positioned to be an equally significant shift in how technology develops across all sectors in the coming years. What is not clear is whether governments and corporations will allow the general population access to the full extent of this technology.

The AI industry itself is vast and is growing at an unprecedented rate. However, it’s not just the AI industry directly impacted by this growth. Healthcare, finance, and education are just a few examples of sectors poised to utilize AI to contribute significantly to future developments. From new drug design to trading analysis, the impact that AI is having - and will have - is being felt across the board.

As with most disruptive technologies, only some agree that it is the right thing for the public to have access to. CEO of Tesla and founder of SpaceX has spoken up multiple times about his perceived risks of AI, with statements including, “If you’re not concerned about AI safety, you should be. Vastly more risk than North Korea.” Political figures worldwide have also raised their concerns about the safety of AI, with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stating, “In the most unlikely but extreme cases, there is even the risk that humanity could lose control of AI completely through the kind of AI sometimes referred to as super intelligence,”

Censorship is not a new issue for humanity. Still, with the advancements of the internet, the extent of some governments' censorship over entire populations and corporations' censorship over their users' content is becoming more apparent. The past 15 years have seen the rapid growth of blockchain technology, the immutable distributed ledger technology (DLT) that powers Bitcoin and Ethereum. Blockchain is often considered a technology for finance, with “cryptocurrency” being the buzzword. However, blockchain and DLT can be utilized for many use cases - including decentralizing access to technology such as AI. Decentralized access to AI via blockchain would allow users to access the technology transparently, despite what censorship a government attempts to enforce, just as anyone in the world can send Bitcoin - all that would be needed is an internet connection.

Sandeep Nailwa, founder of Ethereum scaling solution company Polygon Labs spoke recently ,in February 2024, at ETHDenver regarding the importance of decentralized AI.

“The rapid acceleration of centralized AI and its integration into everyday life has led humanity to a crossroads between two future worlds. On the one hand, we have the choice of a Closed World. This world is controlled by few, closed-source models run by massive mega-corporations. On the other hand, we have the choice of an Open World. In this world, models are default open-source, inference is verifiable, and value flows back to the stakeholders. The Open World is the world we want to live in, but it is only possible by leveraging blockchain”

Sandeep is not alone in voicing his opinion on the importance of decentralizing AI to ensure that AI and LLMs are accessible and, most importantly, trustless and verifiable to everyone who wishes to use them. Vitalik Buterin has, on multiple occasions, voiced his opinion on the matter too.

In line with true decentralization, it would be imperative that such protocols are governed by those who utilize the platform - not by a centralized entity. Having the decentralized AI network migrate step-by-step towards becoming a DAO would be the only way to allow for a fully trustless experience. Although not something that new protocols can implement initially without enabling attacks, the migration towards and eventual complete control of a DAO would be vital for the protocol’s success.

The importance of having access to AI for everyone is imperative and blockchain allows that - the significance of this is that everyone can access the models and verify the models, too. The power of DLT for creating decentralized AI models is immense and, if utilized correctly and cautiously, allows for the full potential of AI to be experienced in a fully transparent, trustless manner.

More details: tensereum.com

Each has multiple implementations across various protocols, each with pros and cons. The industry seemingly accepts these two consensus mechanisms, or variations, as the only options. Innovation of consensus mechanism has stagnated as protocols focus on other aspects such as zero-knowlege (zk), data compression, and quantum resistance. Although fundamental elements, the limitations of current consensus mechanisms should not be overlooked - Proof-of-AI is a new and exciting consensus mechanism that focuses on securing the network and rewarding active productivity on the chain.

The biggest argument against proof-of-work protocols is often the energy consumption. In terms of energy usage, a single transaction on the Bitcoin blockchain uses over 700KWh of electricity - this is comparable to the monthly energy usage of an average US household. Although this secures the network, these facts justify the argument against the energy required to sustain the chain. Although the move to sustainable energy is increasing year-on-year, the movement does not, and will likely never include all of the hash rate.

PoS or delegated PoS (dPoS) consensus mechanisms have significantly solved the energy consumption issue. Ethereum, the second-largest blockchain by market cap, switched its consensus mechanism from PoW to PoS in September 2022. This reduced the energy consumption of the network by over 99.95%. The issue with proof-of-stake is that it rewards validators with extensive holdings; this adds a vector of attack wherein validators with significant percentage holdings can have excessive network control.

Although both have merit, both PoS and PoW come with significant flaws. The other aspect often overlooked is that neither contributes directly to the utility aspect of the chain. Proof-of-AI (PoAI) operates uniquely by securing the network and bringing direct utility to the network. Unlike Bitcoin’s PoW, which rewards solving complex computations, or Ethereum’s rewards for validators securing the network - PoAI mining directly rewards those contributing to the services provided on the network itself. This implementation encourages active participation, unlike PoS’s passive participation - active participants are vital for any blockchain's success. Implementing a PoAI mining approach brings a refreshing and innovative take on current consensus mechanisms and allows for a unique approach to the future of blockchain technology.

For more details visit tensereum.com
