What’s up my fellow Mavians? This is the Rebase King here with a new installment called Meet a Mavian! This segment is exactly what it sounds like: I will be interviewing 1-3 Mavians a week and highlighting the unique personalities that the Mavia vision has enthralled. These interviews are conducted via video chat, and I shape them up in a nice text format for entertainment and viewing purposes. 

Q1. Where are you from?

A region called Riga in the country of Latvia. This is a region with many different beliefs, ranging from the very progressive new-school way of thinking to the old-school Soviet Union mentality. It is a very diverse place to live.

Q2. What languages do you speak?

** **Korean, Russian, German, Ukrainian, and English. When I went to school, I had only German there, so after school, I realized that I did not need German, but I needed to learn English. So I learned English by myself without a teacher. I am currently learning Spanish… I just get bored and want to learn a new language. 

Q3. What is some background about yourself?

** **I am a speaker, a sales coach, and I write articles about myself. I really like to read, which led me to you. Your [Rebase King’s] newsletter article was the first article that sparked curiosity. Most are copy paste from all the sources, whether its the pitch deck, Discord, or AMAs. The language you utilize is amazing. Totally in love with your [Rebase King] articles. I am sure that Aiven will say yes to an interview one day, I know that is a passion of yours [Rebase King]. 

Q4. How did you get into crypto, and what excites you most about it?

** **I have known about crypto since 2012. I learned about it but did not believe in it at that time. This was due to experience with the banking system and their control over financial industries. When I learned about the cryptocurrencies, the idea was cool but did not want to get involved.

Then I bought my first couple BTCs and sold them for $100. After BTC hit 50K I told my friends to stop reminding me of that silly folly. 

A while after that, I had many businesses including a real estate agency in Spain, but I wanted to work with something else. So I started to teach people about sales, and most importantly the motivation to generate sales. Through this type of networking I started meeting people that talked extensively about cryptocurrency, tokens, altcoins, etc…

And I thought… Why am I staying away from this experience that could benefit myself?

In the beginning I invested in OneCoin. This project was a huge ponzi scam that hurt many people in the long run. They said they had their own private coin and blockchain. A lot of people believed in it. Most people want to do nothing and get a lot of money. So many are desperate, poor and see crypto as a way to get there. This OneCoin project was based on network marketing and took advantage of this popular sentiment in crypto. This is how I learned that anything connected through network marketing is a scam. 

Although I lost money, I learned much knowledge to navigate the space even further and still continue to navigate it today

Q5. How did you hear of Mavia?

My best friend told me about Mavia. She said we should collaborate and educate each other to support each other around this project. Mavia is my first big project that I have been enjoying since the Discord server had around 40,000 people. I was reading all the messages, watching all the videos, and started to understand the project in-depth because I have to understand it inside and out. I have really enjoyed residing in the Mavia universe. 

Q6.   Why do you believe Mavia will be successful?

** **Mavia will be successful: Tristan (Selenium) said they want to see the actual contributors to the company. He has been the managing director, and in the video, the first words of the AMA, he explained why is ready to give them lands. It was not for gimmicky giveaways, etc… but it was meant for REAL people that believe in Mavia and they will reward Mavians with actual talent and dedication. 

I have a strong belief that you never get anything else than what you put in. The Mavia team puts in effort and time into the project, and it is extremely apparent, especially when you watch Aiven’s modeling in Discord. The Mavia team wants to make sure that the community puts in time and effort into the project as well.  

I believe that Mavia will be the “Tesla” of the gaming industry. They are not so unique, but the way they think, and the way Heroes of Mavia is built, is the unique part. They thought about every single person who is going to be in this game. There is a place for people for no money, there is a place for whales with too much land, there is a place for any type of individual that wants to interact with the land. ** **

The community is the third reason that I believe the game will succeed. The management set the tone/vibe of the project that created such faithful Mavians. The only thing we have to do is keep our eyes centered around the project and do our part as a faithful community.** **

You can tell that Mavia keeps a close eye on its community. Individuals who stand out, get to be moderators. You can be yourself in all the chats. The moderators and community have the patience to answer the same question 50 times a day. There is no negativity amongst the Mavians. This is where the strongest aspect of the game lies. The 70k Discord members are just the beginning to a huge following.** **

Furthermore, the game emphasizes using your brain to strategize. The AAA graphics, the animation you get to see Aiven modeling the actual characters in real-time…. This is such a special thing to show to the people. This is a true genius to watch. This amazing skill shows the creation of the game to keep people engaged. It is like no other gaming project in this way.** **

Q7. Where do you see Mavia's future going?

** **

Mavia’s future is becoming a big player in the gaming industry. This will be a gamechanger in the crypto world. Most of the tokens are based on nothing. It is speculative, manipulated, etc…. These tokens will have NFTs, in-game rewards, and actual utility to the game in a unique way. This will be the first game to utilize the dual-tokenomics model. They will be leaders in the market in 1-2 years. 

Mavia does not present themselves as an asset. They will let you make money, but the first priority is the game, not the money. The play-to-earn is secondary because the gameplay is first and foremost. They are marketing to all ages, the whales, the poor, to anybody that likes mobile games, or someone who just likes NFTs, and this is their biggest strength.

I told a friend that doubted Mavia… wait until the end of this year…. I will tell him, “I told you so". I know he will eat his words, and now he keeps his eye on the game too. 

Q8. Are you a gamer? How do you want to participate in the game?

I am not a gamer at all, I have not played any game like that in my life, but I really like to watch how it plays. Mavia is a project that can offer any user, even non-gamers. You want to make money, you're welcome. You want to play for free, welcome to the community. You want to own a bunch of NFTs, welcome aboard the S.S. Mavia. 

This is the first game that I want to be a player of as well and it’s not for the play-to-earn perspective. I want to introduce this world to myself and it is what I want to do. I am so inspired by this project that I want to join it as a player. Hopefully I will learn fast. 

I am a first-time gamer and am so honored to have Mavia as my first. It is a big deal for me to choose this as my way of passing time at an airport or at a coffee shop. I also have one person in my family that plays the game so perhaps we can team up and win some RUBY together!

Q9. What is a fun fact, or a talent, an extraordinary short story about yourself that makes you unique?

** **There are so many of them. The funniest story that I can think of is the one I tell all my trainees. 

To give some background: I am in a Soviet Union country. I have a lot of people that know the USSR and a lot of younger people that do not know that era. Very old-school mentality among those that remember the Soviet Union. I am a salesperson that trains many people over the years, and I happen to have a bunch of old ladies in training on this day. ** **

However, on this particular day, I was running late to work so I was not able to dress in my business apparel. So, my arms were showing as I was giving the training. During the presentation, I could clearly see that the people were not following along or seemed to not understand the material.

After 15 minutes, I stopped the presentation and asked,” What is wrong?”

One of the old ladies stood up and asked, “Do you believe in God?”

I asked, “Why do you ask that,” and I said, “Yes”.

She said, “Because tattoos come from the Devil.”

I was speechless. Anybody that knows me, would say that it is very hard to make me speechless since I always have something to say. 

They were unable to focus on the training that they paid for because of my tattoos on my arms!

I said, “If you are ready to get the information, then you need to get tattoos out of your mind.”

After that funny moment, the woman came up to me afterwards for a great talk. I realized after that training, that I did not need to teach people how to sell, but I needed to teach people how to BE THEMSELVES. 

Now I start off all my talks telling my trainees that I have tattoos, I have two girls, etc…. I exemplify how comfortable I am to be myself. 

 I can understand her mindset, back in her day, the only people who had tattoos were prisoners. The judgment in this type of region is very old school, so the judgment is very high. You can be judged for having pink hair, having tattoos, or being different. However, I know that you can be “weird” and still be successful in this type of atmosphere. This is what I focus my training sessions on now. 

A fundamental belief of mine is that you can like whatever you want. You can be old-school, new school, it does not matter. I do not like tattoos on my face. However, I do respect someone that wants tattoos on their face and that makes them happy. There is a reason why the old-school thinking existed, it worked for that time, back in the day. There is a reason why there is new thinking, to progress the future forward. None of it should be shunned and people should follow their heart and their unique individuality. 

Q10. Give a shout out to Mavia, to charity, to your family, or whatever you want to promote!

The fact that, Mavia as an idea, as a project, is making a lot of people’s lives better. I believe that if every single person chooses to help another, even once per day, that this would make the world much better. I believe Mavia can make people much happier and this is why I support this project so much. Choosing to do good is what I promote most in my life and Mavia shares this vision. I am a big fan that will always support the Mavian dream.

I have written so much different content, but this was my first video interview and I had such a fun time. vTrade is an amazing personality and it was such an honor to get a glimpse into her life, and the reasons why she supports Mavia.
