Technology has had a huge impact. While there are negative impacts of social media, the access to information that the internet has provided has been truly world-changing. You can teach yourself anything, connect with like-minded people around the world, trade options, monetize content, start a business with a click, and so much more. The opportunities really are endless.

The intersection of AI and the decentralized web is going to empower them like never before. We will see some world-changing companies created over the next five years that leverage these new technologies. Ownership by individuals versus big tech will be a huge theme - it's why I'm excited about protocols like Farcaster.

Their role models are celebrities like Taylor Swift who are setting great examples of inclusivity. They understand climate change and rightly scoff at mass-consumer practices. They embrace health and wellness, with many choosing not to drink alcohol, putting fitness and longevity first. Smoking? Why would anyone ever think the Marlboro Man was someone to be idolized? Their cool hangout spot is Erewohn, not the local bar.

They favor the unique over the mass-marketed. There is a reason Nike are fighting to stay relevant in a world of Hokas and On Running.

They embrace the outdoors and are willing to move to new places as long as it gives them a sense of cultural relevance. Why pay sky-high big city rents, when you can create your own it-city with your tribe?

All of this to say I have tremendous hope for the future with this crew in charge.
