First off happy new year to the whole Llama herd, we stuck through the bear together and now it’s time to kick off 25 with our yield switch announcement.

So … Wen Yield?

Dina has been furiously coding away and many of you have already seen some snippets of the Llama locker (special thanks again to PYK) We’re confident that everything will be in place by the eom.

So yield in Feb right?

Again we’re going to have to ask for a moment of patience here as the treasury tests the system in live. Ideally we’re looking at two epochs to verify that the locker and claim flow functions as intended. During this phase the multi-sig will stake its LLamas.

How much yield?

60% of the claimed treasury yield will be streamed via the locker to staked LLamas. Treasury LLamas WILL NOT be staked - the undilutooor

What will be done with the remainder of the yield?

20% will be compounded back into treasury positions 20% will be directed at a new multi-sig wallet for team and operations. The multi-sig will be consist of the same signers as the existing treasury multi-sig. These numbers will remain flexible depending on market conditions.

How will yield be paid out?

This is still to be finalized - likely to be either CRV, scrvUSD or a combination of both.

How much yield can I expect?

December’s yield was approximately 50k usd - as the defi renaissance takes effect we’re hopeful this will be multiples higher in the coming months. 2025 Year of the LLama
