👾 Blocktopia Alpha is Here

Today, Bloktopia announced the launch of the alpha, based around play-to-earn game BCubes. It is now possible to participate in the Bloktopia Alpha, play BCubes, and win a share of 1 million $BLOK.

The alpha is set to roll out in ‘a controlled manner’ with specially selected initial users. “The feedback gathered from the users will be critical, ahead of Bloktopia’s commercial launch,” says the company on their website.

Bloktopia introduced the Jointly Owned Blok Enterprise (JOBE) in Q4 2021, in order to make owning REBLOK or ADBLOK NFTs affordable to everyone.

The company states that “Joining a JOBE will allow you to own a REBLOK and/or ADBLOK NFT with other people, making ownership and exposure accessible and affordable.”

🛰 OuterRing MMO Prepares For Game Launch & Stakes GQ.

According to OuterRings website, staking is available for its GQ coin ahead of the game launch. There will be “different pairs available to generate keys, minerals, and other resources with huge utility inside the game.”

By staking GQ you can earn tradable materials, and craft NFT within the metaverse when the game is launched.

Additionally, you will be able to generate loot box keys in order to find guns, materials, and NFT items inside loot boxes within the game.

Earlier today, Outer Ring’s FCFS round sold out on Bscpad, GameZone & MetaVpad.

This week, HTC Vive announced its segue into the metaverse with its new project Viverse; an open-source VR interactive world. The company has received harsh criticism from the community.

🇰🇷 South Korea To Invest 187 Million In National Metaverse.

This week, South Korea’s Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning has pledged a massive 186 million USD toward the development of its own national Metaverse. The ministry has described the project as a broad ecosystem supporting the expansion of corporate growth and digital content.

South Korea’s metaverse will focus on using the digital world as a platform for growing education, media, and virtual industrial city expansion.

In order to build up the platform, the ministry had said it will be hosting community-oriented activities, to attract the right content creators and talent. These events will include a hackathon and a metaverse developer contest.

**Doctor Who: Worlds Apart - **Based on the science fiction show of the same name, this is a trading card game where users will compete with unique card decks.

**Monsters Clan - **Similar to Axie Infinity, players will compete through monster battles, upgrade with potions, and concoct new monsters in a lab.

**Illuvium - **This blockchain-based RPG has monsters and 3D characters. Players will be able to mine, harvest, and perform quests in exchange for tokens.

The Metaverse is changing the way we shop, the way we entertain ourselves, and the way we interact with brands. Marketing has always gravitated towards innovative platforms like the metaverse. And new opportunities are opening up every day for companies to brand themselves in unique ways.
