Own something.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Think globally—study markets and research. The world belongs to those who research deeply, not just have ideas.</p><p>P.S. Did you know that Nigeria has 3 native blockchains? <span data-name="thinking" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🤔</span></p><hr><p></p><ol start="3"><li><p>David Pius</p></li></ol><p>David shared his experience attending Devcon in Bangkok and discussed the permissionless nature of Ethereum:</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Ethereum allows anyone to build.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️There are countless opportunities and resources, just do your research.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️If you can read and write, you can contribute.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Research deeply. This is the key to unlocking opportunities.</p><hr><p></p><ol start="4"><li><p>Femi Adegolu – Expanding the Builders' Ecosystem in Africa</p></li></ol><p>He emphasized on the importance of collaboration as a builder.</p><ul><li><p>There are 4 categories of builders:</p></li></ul><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Developers and Engineers – Experts who code the solutions that drives progress.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Designers and Creators – Those that bring ideas to life using creative visuals and tools.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Innovators and Entrepreneurs – Those that disrupt industries with new ideas &amp; innovations.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️ Communities and ecosystem enablers that connect and empower builders across Africa.</p><ul><li><p>Collaboration over competition: Work with others to succeed.</p></li><li><p>To foster the building ecosystem in Africa, we should: Invest in talent, Create funding pathways and support underrepresented groups.</p></li><li><p>As a Builder, focus on offering value, getting seen, and getting heard.</p></li></ul><hr><p></p><ol start="5"><li><p>Njoku Emmanuel - Building a Great Product.</p></li></ol><ul><li><p>He shared his approach to building products:</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Build something interesting and unique that solves real problems.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Build something so good it is hard to ignore.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️Research: Stimulate your brain to think beyond what you already know. Take it out of its comfort zone. Dive deep into research.</p><p><span data-name="small_blue_diamond" class="emoji" data-type="emoji">🔹</span>️As a builder, you should always read, study, and research.</p></li></ul><hr><hr><p></p><p>Overall, it was an eventful meetup.
