Some Stats About the Liquidity Pool

The official $BUILD/WETH liquidity pool was created on May 13, 2024, right after the token launch.

The first position, which I’ll refer to as Position Genesis, was created by the BUILD Party App with 150B $BUILD and 72.6 ETH. Position Genesis is locked and cannot be closed or updated by anyone. As of August 20, a total of 1,599 different positions have been created by 675 unique addresses.

I downloaded BUILD/WETH Pool - Net Liquidity by Position - Daily - Cumulative data from Dune, excluding Position Genesis from the data.

In the query, I excluded positions where the same amount was added and removed on the same day. As a result, these positions will not be part of this reward program.

This approach allowed me to identify the position for each day and the amount representing its contribution to the pool. We allocated 208,333,333 $BUILD as a reward for each day, distributing this amount based on the weight of the positions for that day.

I then grouped the results by position owner.

Keep in mind that a single position owner (address) may have more than one position.

I uploaded the data to Dune and created this query. If you provided liquidity to the $BUILD/WETH official pool on Uniswap, you can use the query to check the amount of your liquidity mining reward.

1. Open Liquidity Mining Reward Airstream on Sablier.

2. Connect your wallet.

3. Choose Base.

4. Check Eligibility.

5. If you are eligible, click "Start Stream".

6. Go to Streams > All.

7. Click your stream.

8. Withdraw your tokens.

The claiming period for liquidity mining rewards will end on September 30, 2024. Unclaimed tokens will be burned.

10% of the $BUILD total supply has been allocated to the $BUILD liquidity mining program, with 2% of the total supply (20B $BUILD) allocated for the first rewards distribution, which took place from May 13 to August 20.

By the end of the claiming period, this 20B $BUILD will either have been claimed by the position owners, or any remaining amount will be burned. We'll be launching an ongoing liquidity mining program in September and will share more details soon.
