Welcome to TonLayer, where we seamlessly connect the TON and Ethereum ecosystems with our high-performance, low-cost, and secure EVM via the TEVM. By synchronizing Tonlayer’s TEVM and TON network states with each new block, TonLayer effectively merges these two powerful blockchains. TonLayer is an innovative project that creates a fully EVM-compatible, modular Layer 2 on the TON network.

Why Now?

· Growing TON Ecosystem

The TON blockchain is experiencing rapid growth, driven by its advantages over older networks like Ethereum. With fewer technical burdens and a solid design foundation, TON is attracting more users and developers.

· Need for EVM Compatibility

Despite its advantages, the TON ecosystem faces challenges. Developers need time to learn TON’s development language, and the lack of an EVM-compatible chain results in a separation from the Ethereum ecosystem. This separation limits growth and hinders the movement of users and developers between the two networks.

TonLayer addresses this by providing a bridge between TON and Ethereum. Developers familiar with Ethereum’s environment can now leverage TON’s high performance and low costs, making their applications more competitive.

How TonLayer Works

· TEVM Architecture

TonLayer enhances the default op-stack architecture by implementing a modified rollup framework where the Sequencer in TEVM handles transaction requests, executes them, and updates the TEVM state, which is then sent to the TON chain.

DA is utilized to reduce transaction costs and increase throughput by efficiently managing data availability. By using the TON chain as the settlement layer, TonLayer leverages its excellent performance and development potential, enhancing the high-performance implementation of TEVM and facilitating efficient asset transfer between the TON and TEVM chains.

· What’s Next

TonLayer is more than just a bridge between TON and Ethereum. It combines the best of both worlds, ensuring high security, excellent throughput, and low costs. This project not only fills the gap of EVM-compatible chains within the TON ecosystem but also encourages the migration of more Ethereum dApps to TON, fostering mutual growth and prosperity for both ecosystems.

TonLayer Bridge

For further inquiries and support, feel free to reach out through our social media and email channels.
