Working together with smart, ambitious people to build the products of the future sounds like my dream come true.

Now with the rise of web3 and DAO's, it's easier than ever to come together with a group of like-minded people and build digital products together, with one particular advantage over traditional studios:

Ownership.

DAO's provide the infrastructure to own a piece of everything your collective builds and works on. If your collective builds a micro SaaS that eventually does $10k MRR, you get a piece of that upside.

DAO's also provide governance or the ability to vote and decide on important things like what to build and whether to sell or keep a project. So everyone in the collective can propose ideas for projects to build and the group votes to decide what to build.

But what if we don't know how to build it?

That's where this gets even more interesting..

What if we got experienced developers/no code experts to lead cohorts of members and teach/guide them as they build out their idea.

Instead of coding bootcamps where you build stuff you don't really care about... you could be building something real that your cohort picked and that you will profit off in the future.

Instead of paying the bootcamp $15-$20k, what if it was a fraction of the price and the combined fees go towards funding your cohort project and paying the mentors?

Instead of coding bootcamps where you graduate and hopefully find a job, what if upon graduation you immediately became part of the venture studio; an alumni network of indie hackers that can continue working on their project, work on projects from future cohorts or whatever else they decide.
