I never imagined I’d be applying to contribute to one of the biggest Web3 platforms: Galxe.</p><p>But here we are.</p><hr><h2 id="h-applying-as-a-web3-writer" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0">Applying as a Web3 Writer</h2><p>After spending time documenting my Web3 journey and creating content around platforms like Layer3 and Galxe, I finally decided to take a bold step — I sent a message directly to Galxe, sharing my blog and offering to contribute to their ecosystem.</p><p>To my surprise, they responded.</p><p>They appreciated my effort and sent me a link to apply for their contributor program. That moment gave me real confidence — not just in my writing, but in the idea that Web3 truly rewards people who show up and build in public.</p><hr><h2 id="h-what-the-application-asked-for" class="text-3xl font-header !mt-8 !mb-4 first:!mt-0 first:!mb-0">What the Application Asked For</h2><p>The form was short but important.</p><p>They asked questions like:</p><ul><li><p>How long I’d been using Galxe</p></li><li><p>If I had previous contributor experience</p></li><li><p>What I knew about Galxe</p></li><li><p>My understanding of Web3</p></li></ul><p>Even though I’m still early in my journey, I answered honestly. Some tasks needed Ethereum, which I didn’t have, but that didn’t stop me.
