Over the past few months - we’ve built a home for the misfits and outcasts to come together and celebrate our differences.

Growing up in a midwest suburb coming from a mixed background - I was bullied and always felt like an outcast.

I found solace in music, and ended up turning it into a career that has been rewarding both professionally and psychologically.

I fell in love with writing songs, releasing music under my name and for some of the biggest artists in the world.

WesGhost represents my next chapter.

It’s an artist project that’s bigger than me. Bigger than any of us.

Today - I’m excited to announce the FACELESS EP, a six song project that marks the first chapter of WesGhost.

We’re releasing it onchain on Monday, August 21st  as a collection of 2500 editions on wesghost.xyz

Here’s what to know.

WesGhost Origins

WesGhost was born in March 2023.

It was all started through A Kid Called Beast.

AKCB is a 3D NFT project with a heavy focus on IP, animation & metaverse integration. I found one of the only ones in the collection that I felt represented the feel of WesGhost-  all white, masked & heavily tattooed character.

Once I found my Beast - it was off to the races.

We dropped Sleepwalking on Sound which ended up charting as the #1 song on the platform.

We grossed 13 ETH across more than 2300 editions - immediately propelling the project to the top of the onchain music charts.

What people might not know is that I’d been growing an onchain presence long before starting WesGhost.

Whether it was making anthems for notable projects like Quirkies, Killabears or any other number of NFT projects - I’d been paying close attention for the better half of two years.

WesGhost is my opportunity to make an impact not only onchain - but on the world.

After dropping a series of songs onchain - the project started to catch a wave on traditional streaming platforms.

I collabed with leading artists like Sammy Arriaga, Angelbaby and Oshi alongside dropping on LNRZ.

A couple viral reels lead to Sleepwalking getting signed to 10K Projects - and WesGhost starting to gain a following on Instagram.

Now - we’re in a position to take the project to the next level.

FACELESS EP

The FACELESS project is my first curated collection of songs.

Everything up to this point has been released as a single. FACELESS marks something bigger.

There are 6 songs on FACELESS:

Each song features a different supply - adding an element of rarity to the collection.

There are 2500 editions across all 6 songs, broken down as follows.

In partnership with Coop Records Music, we’ve developed a custom contract to mint the project through a lottery system.

On wesghost.xyz/faceless - you can mint an edition for 0.002 ETH.

However - you won’t know which of the 6 songs you got until after you mint.

This lottery phase will run for 7 days, after which any unminted songs can be purchased directly on Sound.

Eternity

But that’s not all.

Once the collection sells out - I’ll be releasing my most important video to date.

“Eternity” depicts the transition from the physical to the virtual world.

It shows me fully becoming WesGhost - and the interplay between the two world I’ve been immersed in.
