Due to covid19, almost everyone is locked down at home. We can’t go outside to communicate with other people face-to-face. The only way is we have to use electronic devices like phones, tablets and computers. Thus, we have more time to wander around internets and access lots of new things that we are not used to have time to event look at it!.

For me, I start reading books, listening to other people podcast sharing their favorites songs, hobbies and books. And from that, I learn from those people a lot and luckily I start to know about these terms: “Investing”, “Financial freedom”, “Blockchain”, “Stock market” and many more. I used to have a 9-5 job, wake up in the morning and go home in late afternoon. No plan for future, sometimes no motivation for works because life goes on slowly with no direction. And yes finally, covid19 hit me and maybe many of us just like “A reset button for our life”. We have more time at home to recap our life, career path, passion and plan for future. I start to actively learn about Investing and so on. Universe guide me to Blockchain and Crypto-currency. As a software engineer, i’m really fascinating about these concept and technology and wish I could pay attention at these earlier.

And this is the journey of my web3 and blockchain started. I learn to invest small amount of my money to market for testing and learning. And boom! You know ! Mr. Market is not that tolerant and easy person right?. I lose my money because I do not have a plan for investing, not having good knowledge about what I invest. I just follow other people opinion and let my emotion decide the process of buying and selling my investment. That’s really suck!.

I start to ask some questions and follow some good people with long-term investment mindset. Keep testing, failing and learning. Now I am confident to have my long-term investment plan and my job is discipline to stick with it!!!. Psychology is the key factor in this market. As long as I invest my time and money in this market, I realize I love these new tech and people in this industry. And I decide to take further steps, be a Web3 builder to grow this industry and be the early adopter!!!
