It is understood that this fuel consumption is not at the target level of 553, involving 57 business enterprises, with no luxury branding.

Overcrowded cars

It is understood that, as required by GB 19578-2014, the emission limit for vehicle fuel consumption should be set at the end-of-production vehicle-type emission standard of 750 kg for the whole vehicle (CM) and 5.2 for the vehicle-type fuel consumption limit (L/km); 750 kg <CM≤2510kg for fuel consumption limits of 5.5 to 10.8, which are broken down into 13 levels; CM>2510kg for fuel consumption at 11.5.

If the vehicle type does not meet this criterion, it cannot be licensed by the Vehicle Production Business and Product Bulletin, which does not permit production, marketing and registration, use in the country.

In fact, the GB19578-2014 Ceiling limit on vehicle fuel consumption is an important step in the implementation of the Energy Efficiency and New Energy Automobile Industry Development Plan (2008-2012-2020) aimed at promoting advanced energy-efficient technology development and applications in the country, continuing to reduce fuel consumption, reducing the average fuel consumption level of our multi-cycles by 2020 to around 5L/100km, with a corresponding CO2 emissions of about 120g/km. At the same time, the technical standard was implemented on 1 January 2016 for the new certified vehicle and 1 January 2018 for the production vehicle.

As a result, the above-mentioned policy has been implemented taking into account the launch cycle of business products and allowing the transition time for the current pattern of vehicle production.
