Rather than record the brawl at recess, the world decidedly used their phones to do much more. 

The underdogs were sent a raid of cryptocurrency donations and NFT war funding.

The bell was answered with over $33M+ in crypto funds raised (as of March, 3rd).

The Ukrainian Government tweeted their appreciation for all global contributors by confirming a free token airdrop (yes, you read that correctly. Zietgiest AF).

Multiple economic historians on Twitter are considering this our first "modern day crypto war bond".

JUST IN: Prime Minister of Ukraine, @FedorovMykhailo has decided to cancel the airdrop and instead, announce NFTs to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Crypto buzzword madness! What does this all mean?

We have potentially opened the doors to a new and influential way of fundraising. This is a very early example of a crowdfunding/donation model in the burgeoning age of tech.

Wouldn’t be a bad idea to learn how centralized exchanges are following the laws...

Sanction laws apply to all US people and businesses. Even in the wild west, crypto cowboys cannot evade their bounties.

And why would they try to?-

It would be a huge mistake for crypto exchanges like CB and FTX to not follow the law. To be taken seriously like any other regulated financial service business, they are inclined to screen people against global watchlists/block transactions from IP addresses that are sanctioned.

These exchanges collect user info including: name, DOB, phone number, SSN, and photo ID.

The information will be cross-checked against govt databases to ensure accuracy. The user is rejected+prohibited from trading if name is present on watchlists(DOJ FBI, UN and OFAC list)

User's fiat, deposit and withdrawal transactions are monitored using on-chain risk analysis tools such as @tmrlabs (The same transaction monitoring tools our govt agencies use).

So, since the blockchain is an open ledger, trying to sneak lots of money through crypto would be more traceable than using U.S. dollars cash, art, gold, or other assets.

And yet, the public still holds opinions bolstered upon the idea that crypto is an effective means of dodging sanctions due to lack of industry regulation.

There is no doubt that sanctions are a multifaceted issue, especially within the current climate. Procedures are constantly changing. To combat public distrust, both FTX President and CB Co-founder have pledged to uphold transparency via twitter.

Main take away: If the US govt decides to impose a ban, then it might not be a bad idea to hold your own keys from now on! Get them coins off these exchanges and into ye wallets (Metamask, Phantom, Trust, etc).

Well this past weekend, Tai was the talk of NFT Land with his most recent drop. This man had the audacity to auction off leisurely activities. The auction style was a reverse Dutch Auction (where the price increases after a certain amount of time, contrary to the market's norm).

Some of my favorites include: a game of HORSE with Tai (for 18.4ETH = ~$46,500 ), 1 on 1 Watch A Movie with Tai (for 12.27 ETH = ~$31,000) and a 1 on 1 FaceTime Call (for 7.2 ETH = ~$20,000). 

The public distrusts the space as is. This cash grabby project only makes people more wary. Hard to onboard newcomers when there are snake oil critters like him lurking...

NFT Twitter held him accountable by pumping out memes galore. They ran him off the blockchain with open criticism. The project failed to sell-out, meaning the "watchers of the chain" rightfully protected the novice trader.

Reputation is everything. It certainly isn't easy to build a lasting community around your brand/product. Yet, I think we all know the first rule - even without having to pick up a book - Don't scam your customers.
