In 2020, our team launched Peanut (a staking DAO), and created Nutbox (a staking DAO creation platform) in the following year. The TVL reached 36 million US dollars within 17 days of its launch. Nowadays, Wormhole3 combines DAO with Social to explore Web3 social in a new way.

01 Social DApp for Web2 users to use seamlessly

Wormhole3 chose to support the Steem blockchain first. Steem blockchain's multi-level accounts, third-party application payment gas fee, decentralized account authorization, etc., can make the Steem blockchain directly connected to the Web2 platform, making Twitter and other Web2 social platforms become the application side of the social public chain Steem ( front end).

This "Web2 platform as the front end and blockchain as the back end" approach allows Web2 users to enter the crypto world seamlessly, laying the foundation for Crypto to introduce the next 100 million users.

Web2 users only need to log in to Wormhole3 once (mobile phone or PC is acceptable, no plug-in required), and

• Send tweets with instructions on the chain, and store their social content and interactions on the Steem blockchain;

• Transfer cryptocurrency via "reply + @friend" on Twitter;

• Accept rewards from BSC/Polygon/Moonbeam/ENULS/Steem and other blockchain cryptocurrencies;

For Steem blockchain users, after logging in to Wormhole3, while tweeting, the content can be synchronized to the Steem blockchain.

02 Core Functions

Supporting the Steem blockchain platform is the first step for Wormhole3. In the future, Wormhole3 will consider supporting social protocols such as Lens Protocol/Nostr to become the first stop for Web2 social users to enter the Crypto world.

2.1 Post Tweet On-chain

Anyone who logs in to Wormhole3 once can easily post tweets on-chain, as shown in the figure:

In addition, you can also post tweets to different on-chain communities. For example, by adding #crypto in the figure, the tweet is posted to the #crypto chain community.

2.2 Tip cryptocurrency to content creators

Anyone can tip cryptocurrency for any tweet on the Wormhole3 page, as shown in the figure:

Wormhole3 supports tip directly with Polygon/BSC/Moonbeam/ENULS/Steem’s on-chain assets.

2.3 Tip cryptocurrency through curation

Users who curate (quote/like/retweet/reply) any post on the Wormhole3 Curated page will be rewarded with the corresponding cryptocurrency.

Rewards will be distributed after the curation ends, and users can claim rewards on the wallet page.

2.4 Create curation for quality tweets

The curator who holds the curation creation NFT can quote any tweet, and add #iweb3 #curate to the quoted content to create a curation for the tweet. Once a curation is created for a tweet, other people who quote/like/retweet/reply to this tweet on Wormhole3 can get rewards in cryptocurrency.

Wormhole3 makes it easy for everyone to create a Web3 social media channel (#tag) for their project, community, or DAO with the help of a bridge between Web2 and Web3 and a decentralized social media database. The creator only needs to determine the tag of his/her Web3 social media channel, and community members can Tweet with the corresponding tag and post the post to the creator’s Web3 social media channel.

Fundamental Theory

Any user who logs in to Wormhole3 can generate its permission (the only one that is mastered by the user, this permission generates the web3_social key through hash calculation, and uses graphene technology to give it to the Web2 platform (such as Twitter).

Since the authority of the web3_social key is delegated to the Web2 platform, users can use the Web2 platform to control their web3_social account, tweet on the chain, or transfer cryptocurrency on Twitter (take Twitter as an example).

At the same time, the user’s Web2 ID, web3_social, and web3 ID also achieve decentralized binding. The user’s Web2 ID can be used as an account that is easy to remember for their web3_social and web3 ID, just as the ens domain name is for the Ethereum account.

Web2 users can have Web3 IDs by registering with Wormhole3, and bind their Twitter IDs to connect their Web2 (such as Twitter) accounts with Web3.

Once registered, any Twitter user just tweets and adds #iweb3, and the tweets they publish will be synced to the blockchain (decentralized storage on the Steem chain). If someone in the community likes their content, the creator of the content will be rewarded with the cryptocurrency STEEM.

Aggregate Twitter content for the community

With Wormhole3, Twitter users can post any Tweet to any channel of Web3 social media (just add the community tag and #iweb3). The community management team can guide its members to tweet under the same tag, if the Peanut community members post with #peanut, all posts with the #peanut tag will be aggregated in the Web3 social media #peanut channel. All posts are on-chain, checkable on-chain, and uniquely owned by their creators.

Once a project, community or DAO has a Web3 social media channel, they can reward their members with tokens or NFTs for their active participants in social interaction and community building. On this basis, projects, communities or DAOs can build various interesting decentralized communities such as a decentralized travel community (decentralized version of TripAdvisor) or a decentralized food evaluation community (decentralized version of Yelp).

Use Twitter to transfer cryptocurrency
