Thoughts of the slums above fill Rael with heated anger. The hundreds of street sleepers, low-lives, busy workers, all moving a hundred miles a minute.
web 3 blogpost about literature and NFTs in the crypto space. A story told by collector and artist Dr.LongGhost, the first story is called When the Lamb Lies down

My name is Dr.LongGhost, and I am a creative writer and artist within the Web3 space. I bring my talents and passions from Web 2 with my heart on my sleeve, and this is my first project. In this post you will find all the information you need to follow along or be a part of it.
LongGhost is a writer in and out of the space, and has worked as an educator, actor, writer and editor of children's books, podcasting, and much more. My inspiration comes from classic works, my favorite author is Herman Melville. I am also deeply inspired by the music and message of humanitarian Peter Gabriel.

What is this project?

The first of many Web 3 narratives.
When the Lamb Lies down explores the story of a young person by the name of Rael, growing up in the streets of Manhattan in the early 1980's, and his fantastical quest to save his brother, John. This narrative is heavily inspired by the 1974 album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis. However, this is a retelling and reformation of the loose story in my own method. The story is released in portions, with a special art piece to accompany each chapter.

How does it work?

The Prologue Pass was minted in mid January, and sold out about a week after. This pass acts as free entry to not only this story, but all future endeavors and releases of LongGhost, including 1/1 art outside of the project. The pass gives free mints for each portion, and early access to the following chapter. There will only ever be 100 passes, and they are available on secondary. These stories are written to stir the minds and hearts of collectors and readers alike. I invite you to ponder with me, put yourself in the characters shoes, and form your own understanding of the story. I hope to move you as I've been moved.
