Enter Layer 2 solutions, an innovative approach to address these challenges while maintaining Ethereum's decentralized ethos.</p><p style="text-align: start">Layer 2 solutions are essentially protocols or frameworks built on top of the Ethereum blockchain, offering scalability enhancements without compromising on security or decentralization. These solutions aim to alleviate network congestion and high gas fees by processing transactions off-chain, thus reducing the burden on the main Ethereum network.</p><p style="text-align: start">One of the most promising Layer 2 solutions is the Plasma framework.
