🧬The RTFKT team on interview with Rugradio🧬

While the first AF1 collection forges on, I'd like to summarise a couple of notable points about RTFKT studio's future vector.

👟There's a ''Move to Earn'' mechanic coming soon (trainer utility planned by the team) Something crazy awaits us ''pretty soon actually''. I think we'll see a strong boom throughout the collection with NFC chips, as it's more interesting to use your clothes for motion tracking than your phone. Then again this could be the innovation the team likes to introduce so much.

🎮Games - the team is interested in making games. ''We love and are interested in Web 3 things (gaming, physical/digital, etc.) and we've always wanted to work on creating innovations for the younger generation.'' That's a very strong statement, but essentially it takes 3-4 years to make a good game, as a quick ecosystem booster it's not worth considering.

🤝Collaborations - Benoit forcasts upcoming partnerships. ''Crazy collaborations to be announced with the coolest brands in the world,'' he summed up the conversation without mentioning specific timelines. Excited about the physical forging, the team plans to push their first collection to the masses.

🎾Nike Athletes- On collaborating with Nike Athlete (like Serena Williams recently got a clone). "Just wait a couple of weeks and things will surface. I think Nike's famous athletes and celebrity involvement will start a couple of weeks after the first collection is forged.

🧩Overall:

There are ~35 full-time RTFKT employees working on the team (lots of developers and 3D artists).

Kanye is a dream collaborator for the team (long time).

Website is being worked on for a couple of free clone files available to all (not for commercial use).

RTFKT is working on "5 other projects" (apart from Forging).

AF1's main value is Scarcity.

There will be new collaborations and new physical collections🔜
