The FC acquisition definitely feels bittersweet One on hand I have so much respect and empathy for Dan + Varun for grinding out the vision for an onchain social app + protocol for 5+ years when no one believed in it I also have a lot of love for Neynar and think it’s the best possible outcome for the torch being carried on by someone who’s been all in on FC since the day I joined The sad part is that there really just aren’t enough real people who care about using a crypto social app today and as a result the only reality is to build for traders who are here today I am extremely proud of all the time and energy I’ve put into building a profile and a brand on this network - and I’d be lying if I didn’t say this news makes it feel like the likelihood of it going beyond crypto anytime soon it probably not going to happen That being said - I’m really curious to see where FC goes from here and am very supportive and stoked about the direction the whole network has gone the last 6+ months with some really strong acquisitions and hires Let’s see what happens!
