On this 4/20 episode of the Mutiny Report, I talk about one of the most American contradictions imaginable: this country will criminalize people for trying to calm their minds while openly tolerating war, profiteering, surveillance, and the pharmaceutical flattening of human pain. Trump did something over the weekend that actually matters by speeding up access and review for treatments aimed at serious mental illness, including psychedelic therapies veterans have been begging this country to take seriously for years. On that point, credit where it’s due.
But while that headline landed, the Strait of Hormuz was still sitting there like a lit fuse under the global economy.
This episode is not just about weed. It is about trauma, control, war, mercy, and whether this country is finally ready to admit that a lot of what it called treatment was really just obedience with a prescription label.
