The Big Story

America is getting its own national crypto roadmap

CFTC Chair Michael Selig has branded Donald Trump "The Crypto President" and laid out plans for a national crypto roadmap, signaling that a pro-crypto administration intends to make US digital asset leadership official policy. It is the clearest statement yet that Washington's posture has flipped from enforcement to architecture. Coming as the CLARITY Act grinds through the Senate, the roadmap frames regulation as a growth strategy rather than a containment exercise. For an industry that spent years fighting for a seat at the table, the table is now being built around it.

Deep Dive of the Week

Which blockchain is the fastest?

Live Chainspect data shows ICP leading real-time TPS while Solana paces the major smart-contract chains. This breakdown cuts through marketing-grade throughput claims to show how to actually read blockchain speed in 2026, and why peak TPS rarely matches sustained reality.

  • Korea's bot crackdown — Exchange alliance DAXA is forcing members to revoke shared or lent API keys to kill automated spoofing.

  • Cardano — ADA sits outside the top 10 at an $8.4 billion market cap, roughly half of Hyperliquid's, as it fights to climb back.
