Dear Frens of CyberConnect,
Now that our New Year Summit and end-of-year celebration campaign #Connect2022 are finally over, I wanted to take this opportunity in the first CyberLetter edition of this year to bring you up to speed with CyberConnect’s long-term strategic direction.
Our mission since the company's inception of ‘Connecting Everyone on Web3’ remains unchanged. We’re building a new future of social networking on the internet where users remain in complete control of their digital identities and social graph, enabling them to travel seamlessly across different applications without experiencing UX issues posed by incumbent Web3 social networks. Our team is uniquely positioned to deliver on this ambitious mission because of our one-stop Web3 social solution, consisting of a universal Web3 user account system and social graph data modules. The protocol updates planned for 2023 will add to our robust offerings and power our growth toward our mission while keeping user needs at the center of all future developer innovations in online social networking.
Our biggest strategic decision of 2022 was to launch Link3, our flagship Web3-native social application. Looking back, it is beginning to make sense how a platform like Link3 is core to taking the CyberConnect ecosystem to new users. While Link3 is helping crypto-native projects and teams navigate the monumental challenges of community-building, it is also quickly becoming the breeding ground for new ideas among top ecosystems like BNB Chain, Lit Protocol, Ceramic, and more. Building a product like Link3 in-house also allows us to quickly and consistently make fundamental upgrades to the protocol while staying in tune with real user needs.
2023 will be our biggest year yet. We will continue to keep our heads down and improve the CyberConnect protocol while expanding the ecosystem. Link3 will remain a core focus of the team and serve an array of new features and integrations. 2023 will also be the most important year in this nascent history of Web3 Social, and we’re switching gears to take on this challenge. In the next few months, we will be rolling out new protocol upgrades and announcing some key partnerships, some of which have been in the works for quite some time. I am thankful to my team for agreeing to be on this mission with me, our investors for supporting our cause, and finally, you, our community members and supporters, for contributing to our growth and being on this journey with us. Below, I have attempted to enumerate our biggest wins of the past year so we can reflect together. I hope you will continue to stick by our side.
