This week? Heavy.
Woke up today questioning everything.
Am I even building the right thing? Is this worth it? Why does this feel so lonely?
Markets are red, timelines are quiet, and it’s hard not to let that energy bleed into your work—even when you tell yourself you're in it for the long game. I know I’m not the only one feeling this.
If you're overwhelmed right now, you're not broken. You’re just in the middle of it. And this is what the middle looks like.
It’s been a packed few days—pushing hard to get the Topi NFT project off the ground.
I’ve been deep in the trenches: aligning with other brand builders, negotiating terms, overseeing community engagement, and constantly asking myself, “Is this enough to make it successful?”
On top of that, I take a lot of pride in hosting the Official Base NFT Show every week. It’s not just content—it’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly. I want to uplift this entire NFT ecosystem.
Yesterday’s stream pulled in over 8.5k views—super dope to see. But it left me wondering… am I chasing impact, or just likes?
Meanwhile, the market’s been tanking, and yeah—it messes with your head. Even when you tell yourself to ignore the charts, the vibe shift is real.
"Momentum is powerful, but boundaries are essential."
What I learned this week is that everyone—especially onchain builders—is chasing some version of success. Some weeks, you’re riding a high. Opportunities show up. DMs light up. Everything feels like it’s clicking.
But chasing that momentum non-stop? It’ll drain you.
I’m realizing that setting boundaries isn't about slowing down—it’s about staying in the game. You can’t burn out your mind and body just to close a deal or catch a wave. Momentum means nothing if you’re too depleted to move when it really matters.
Protect your energy. The chain will still be here tomorrow.
Discord is unmatched for NFT projects. It’s critical infrastructure. There’s just so much you can build into it that you can’t replicate on Telegram—role-based access, bots, gated content, vibe curation. It really helps form that tight-knit community feel.
Farcaster is an untapped gem. I’ve been playing around on the Purple app and it’s wild how much room there is to stand out. Very little competition, which means you can explore boundaries, experiment fast, and actually get noticed. Cooking up something cool with a mini app for the Topi launch.
Live streaming is rewarding—and draining. Hosting is a blast. There’s something special about creating space for guests to open up and vibe. But it is work. A lot goes into doing it right, and it leaves you wiped. Taking the day after to rest isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
If this week felt heavy—you’re not alone.
We don’t talk enough about the emotional weight of building. The pressure to always be “on.” The fear of losing momentum. The silence when things don’t land.
But here’s the truth:
You don’t need to move fast every week to be legit.
Some weeks are about surviving. Some are about resting. Some are just about staying in it.
So take your time. Protect your peace. And keep building—on your own terms.
The chain’s still gonna be here tomorrow.
