STP has launched one of the first on-chain governance tools on Base, an Ethereum L2 that is incubated by Coinbase.The dApp Clique, an all-in-one DAO infrastructure platform is now integrated with Base mainnet to offer onchain DAO governance to all its users. With this integration, organizations, users, and projects on Base can now build and manage DAOs directly on Clique.
Using an aggregated DAO dashboard, DAOs and projects on Base can now access voting and governance tools for their communities and token holders with just a few clicks. Users can browse, govern and participate in all DAOs, as well as execute proposals based on community votes. In addition, the users and projects on Base can also access Clique's additional features in terms of Clique Reward, SDK, etc.. Clique Rewards will allow DAOs to increase community engagement and growth by offering real rewards to participants. With the SDK, projects can customize their cross-chain governance and voting systems on their website without having to spend time developing from scratch.
This integration is a significant step towards enabling the wider adoption of on-chain governance tools on L2 networks. By providing an accessible and customizable on-chain governance infrastructure, Base and Clique will facilitate the growth of decentralized organizations and the development of the wider blockchain ecosystem.
