SyFu has previously announced that users who hold at least 30 MANEKINEKO Uncommon OG for a set period would become eligible for a Genesis airdrop.
With Mainnet beta now live, the experience has begun to move beyond simply holding MANEKINEKO. Players can now grow them, use Breed, and take part in more of the SyFu Game experience.
Now, the path to Genesis that we have shared with the community is ready to begin as an actual challenge.

This is not a lottery or a first-come, first-served event. It is a challenge built on maintaining your holdings day after day. No entry or application is required.

First, Check What You Need to Hold — and Where
You can confirm whether your MANEKINEKO are eligible by checking the following three points.
1 | What do you need to hold?
You must hold at least 30 Uncommon OG, including eligible collaboration models.

Eligibility is not limited to MANEKINEKO acquired through an NFT sale

Any MANEKINEKO registered as Uncommon OG is eligible, regardless of how it was acquired
The eligible category is Uncommon (OG). Common (OG), regular Breed-produced Uncommon, Origin, and Twin are not eligible.
2 | Where do you need to hold them?
Eligible Uncommon OG must be held in SyFu Game.

Holdings outside SyFu Game, including those in SyFu Wallet, are not counted
3 | Does their current condition matter?
As long as the MANEKINEKO is an Uncommon OG, remains owned by your SyFu account, and is held in SyFu Game, it will still count in the following states:

Lifespan is 0

HP is 0
-
Any Stage: Pod, Mini, or Prime

Any Level or growth state
-
Listed on the Marketplace, as long as the sale has not been completed
The following MANEKINEKO are not counted:

MANEKINEKO already sold through the Marketplace

MANEKINEKO moved outside SyFu Game, including to SyFu Wallet or an external wallet

MANEKINEKO burned through Fusion or another mechanism
Holdings across multiple SyFu accounts cannot be combined.
The Genesis Challenge can be completed once per SyFu account, and each account can receive only one Genesis Package.
Looking to Purchase Uncommon OG?
You can find Uncommon OG on the SyFu Official Marketplace. Before purchasing, make sure the listing displays RARITY: UNCOMMON and TYPE: OG.
Collaboration models such as LUPIN THE IIIRD and KDDI are also eligible for the Challenge when they are displayed as Uncommon OG.

The Genesis Challenge in Three Steps
STEP 1 | Reach 30 Uncommon OG
At 00:00 UTC each day, SyFu checks the number of eligible Uncommon OG held in your SyFu Game account.
Your 30-day count begins automatically on the first day that 30 or more are confirmed. No action is required to start.
STEP 2 | Maintain at Least 30 for 30 Days
After your count begins, continue to hold at least 30 at every daily 00:00 UTC snapshot.
You do not need to hold the exact same 30 MANEKINEKO throughout the Challenge. Your count continues as long as you hold at least 30 eligible Uncommon OG at each daily 00:00 UTC snapshot. Temporary changes outside the snapshot time are not used for Challenge eligibility.
If your holdings fall below 30 at any snapshot, your consecutive-day count resets to zero. As long as the new-start deadline has not passed, a new count can begin the next time 30 or more are confirmed.
STEP 3 | Complete the Challenge at the Snapshot 30 Days Later
You complete the Challenge by maintaining at least 30 through the 00:00 UTC snapshot taken 30 days after your count begins.
For example, if at least 30 are first confirmed on August 22 at 00:00 UTC, you will complete the Challenge if you still hold at least 30 at the September 21, 00:00 UTC snapshot.
Eligibility is determined using holding data in SyFu Game. Screenshots or self-reported information alone will not be used to adjust eligible holdings or consecutive-day counts.
September 12 Is Not the End of the Challenge
The deadline to begin a new 30-day count is September 12, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. The snapshot taken at the deadline is included.
This is not the end of the overall Challenge or the end of an active 30-day count. It is the last time at which a new count can begin.

If your count begins by the deadline and you maintain at least 30, snapshots will continue until you complete the Challenge

If your count begins on September 12 at 00:00 UTC, your scheduled completion snapshot will be October 12 at 00:00 UTC

If you first reach 30 after the deadline, a new count will not begin

If your holdings fall below 30 after the deadline, returning to 30 or more will not restart your count

What Is MANEKINEKO Genesis?
MANEKINEKO Genesis is a special NFT created during the earliest days of the SyFu ecosystem.
With a maximum supply of 3,120, it is not a MANEKINEKO used directly for training or Breed in SyFu Game. Instead, it was designed to support the wider ecosystem from outside the game and serve as a starting point for holders to participate in SyFu’s journey and key milestones.

These are some of the roles and participation opportunities that Genesis holders have received at key milestones across the SyFu ecosystem.
As introduced in our official Medium article, “SyFu Project Introduces Its First Digital Asset, MANEKINEKO Genesis”, Genesis was designed to play a significant role across the SyFu GameFi ecosystem as the project evolved.
MANEKINEKO Uncommon Origin and TAIYAKI have already been airdropped to existing Genesis holders. Those who complete the Genesis Challenge will receive the same set.
SyFu accounts that already hold Genesis are also eligible for the Challenge. Even if an account has previously received Origin and TAIYAKI, it will receive one additional Origin and one additional TAIYAKI for the Genesis granted through this Challenge.
After completion is confirmed, the following three assets will be distributed on a rolling basis as the Genesis Package:

The SyFu token (SFT) distribution previously announced for Genesis holders has not yet taken place. It is planned to be distributed in line with the SFT TGE plan.
SFT is not a reward for completing the Genesis Challenge. Eligibility will be based on whether you hold Genesis at the time of the SFT distribution determination. The Genesis granted through this Challenge will also be eligible if you still hold it at that time. SFT is not included in the Genesis Package distributed through this Challenge.
Distribution After Completion
Once your completion of the 30-day requirement has been confirmed, the Genesis Package will be distributed on a rolling basis.
No separate application is required. Distribution updates and any additional announcements will be shared through SyFu’s official channels.
