We are excited to introduce you to Taiko Status, a taskless initiative for the Taiko Community. In a nutshell, Taiko Status is a dynamic indicator based on the TAIKO tokens you hold on the Taiko network. The more TAIKO tokens you hold, the more points you gain—and the higher your Taiko Status becomes.

As stated in our previous blog post, Taiko Takeoff will support select projects on the Taiko Network by offering assistance in various ways, including but not limited to marketing, funding, networking, and tech support. As part of Taiko Takeoff, supported projects will create opportunities, such as airdrops, for the Taiko community. This is where Taiko Status comes into play.

Taiko Status, which reflects the points based on TAIKO tokens held on the Taiko network, will affect the opportunities available to users. As mentioned above, while Taiko Status is open to all, having more points means juicier rewards. Taiko Takeoff and Taiko Status will work together in a positive-sum game, ensuring benefits for all Taiko Network participants.

We have five levels for Taiko Status: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Based. The key to unlocking higher levels remains the same—TAIKO tokens.

• Holding TAIKO in Wallet → 1 point per 1 TAIKO token.

• Holding TAIKO in a select dApp → 1.5 points per 1 TAIKO token.

Level Thresholds:
🥉 Bronze – 1,000 points
🥈 Silver – 5,000 points
🥇 Gold – 25,000 points
💎 Platinum – 100,000 points⭐ BASED – 250,000 points

Holding TAIKO tokens on the Taiko network—whether in your wallet or in selected dApps (Avalon and TakoTako is active at this moment, soon more dApps will be added) —earns you points.
