Eldfell L3 (alpha-4) is live!
Taiko’s fourth testnet has arrived! Eldfell L3 (alpha-4) is our first experiment with inception layers and a new staking based proving design. We are launching this testnet in order to test two things:Deploying Taiko on Taiko as an L3 inception layer (a rollup on a rollup 😏)Testing a new staking based prover economicsOur alpha-N releases are always experiments to test our hypothesis on the protocol and build a more robust system. Greetings, Taikonauts!
Avalon Labs was the first of many projects in Taiko Takeoff, and we’re happy to inform you that incentivized rewards for participants have been distributed. This partnership marks an important milestone for Taiko Takeoff as we continue to create more utility for the TAIKO token.
As part of this partnership, Avalon featured a heavily incentivized TAIKO pool, offering a 134% APY to anyone who supplied TAIKO tokens. A total of 75,758TAIKO tokens have been distributed. Congratulations to all the Taikonauts who took advantage of this great opportunity! Don’t forget to check your wallets!
Additionally, Trailblazers who claimed on the Taiko network received enhanced Trailblazers XP, helping them climb even higher.
But that’s not all from Avalon x Taiko Takeoff—stay tuned for more surprises in the future!
Taiko Takeoff is here to stay, creating opportunities for both projects and the community. Want to be part of this initiative and earn rewards? We’ve recently introduced Taiko Status, which is the key to securing a larger share of rewards. In short, the TAIKO tokens you hold grant you points, your points unlock your Taiko Status level, and your level determines your share from Taiko Takeoff airdrops.
We’re committed to onboarding more projects and launching more events like this. In fact, keep your eyes peeled—something exciting is coming your way very soon.
Boost your Taiko Status and get ready for bigger opportunities!
