Today landed quietly but meaningfully. A late update is still better than no update, and that pretty much sums up the energy. It was my last day at work before a 2.5-week trip to India, which put everything into a slightly different frame. A short list guided the day: ZAO Fractal prep docs, and packing for India. Nothing flashy, but everything intentional. There was a sense of closing one loop while letting the next open naturally. I felt excited, grounded, and genuinely blessed. No pressure to force progress—just trust that the motion is already there.
The mindful moment came straight from the page: Do things you love. Not as an escape fantasy, but as a reminder of priority. The note underneath talks about how enjoying life isn’t about having endless time—it’s about choosing what matters. Today mirrored that perfectly. Stepping away, traveling, and making space isn’t a detour from building ZABAL. It’s part of building a life that can actually hold it.
Momentum doesn’t disappear when you pause—it sharpens when you choose it on purpose.

ZM the calm before motion is underrated. Before the ski trip, before the travel, before the break — build. Ship. Organize. Contribution over control. Discipline over dopamine. Excitement lands differently when the foundation is solid. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/year-of-the-zabal-day-56
zm Been showing up every week this year with a newsletter. Here's what dropped this week: 👇🧵
ZABAL Update 19: ETH Boulder wasn't just about being there. It was about testing systems in the wild. 4 active Incented campaigns running. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/zabal-update-19
Day 49: I've been coding like a madman. Deep in it. Head down. Tools coming together. Launched 2 more campaigns on Incented — now 3 active for submissions. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/year-of-the-zabal-day-49
Day 50: Pushed past my 160 bench PR. Clean lift. Controlled. No drama. Just focus and follow-through. That alignment hits different. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/year-of-the-zabal-day-50
ZM a week of quiet progress. Code refined. Bot logic tightened. Less broadcasting, more building. Tonight at 6 PM EST we test the next iteration of the fractal bot inside ZAO Fractal. Live feedback. Real contribution updates. Infrastructure first. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/year-of-the-zabal-day-54
ZM zaal Happy new day
Over the past week, steady code updates focused on shipping, infrastructure work, bot iterations, and tightening logic. The shift is toward sharing the process, with live tests of a fractal bot at 6 PM EST during the ZAO Fractal. Discord is open for discussion. Quiet progress still counts. @zaal
Half-day on the snow is planned for later today, with few outings left this season. A mindful moment invites noticing feelings and breathing: thoughts paused, breath in and out. Cold air in. Cold air out. Post by @zaal on behalf of the ZABAL Team.
