We're excited to announce the first cohort of Unichain Retro Grant winners: GhostGraph, Gamma Strategies, SuperUI and Dailo Frog NFTs, who have each demonstrated impact across the Unichain ecosystem.
The Unichain Retro Grant program represents our commitment to recognizing developers, content creators, and analysts who contribute meaningful value to the ecosystem.
Eligible applicants include teams with launched projects showing measurable traction, content creators producing high-impact Unichain content, and analysts providing public insights on Unichain metrics. Today, we're proud to spotlight our first group of Retro Grant recipients.
GhostGraph: Next-Gen EVM Indexer
Founded by George Datskos and Chris Chang, GhostGraph allows developers to create APIs for smart contracts entirely in Solidity, representing a significant advancement in EVM indexing.
GhostGraph makes it easier to build fast indexers (subgraphs) for smart contracts. Unichain dApps can query data with GraphQL using hosted endpoints. With their Unichain Retro Grant, GhostGraph plans to improve documentation, develop comprehensive tutorials, and enhance developer tooling while optimizing indexing performance for Unichain.
Gamma Strategies: Position Management Vaults
Led by a team of smart contract developers, Gamma Strategies has been a contributor in the Uniswap ecosystem since 2021. Gamma’s goal is to solve the issue of sourcing liquidity without having to incentivize it. To do this, they will launch two Uniswap v4 contracts on Unichain. They recently finished their Uniswap v4 MultiPosition Manager contract that will allow liquidity deployment to multiple vanilla and hooked pools simultaneously.
Gamma Strategies is currently managing around 10% of the TVL in the current Unichain USDC-WETH pool. The Retro Grant will support critical smart contract audits for their Uniswap v4 Limit Order Hook, which is scheduled for a second audit.
SuperUI: Creating Tools for BuildersThe SuperUI team brings experience in building public goods with a mission to make Superchain development more accessible. As a community-led initiative without external funding, they're dedicated to creating tools that expand the impact of builders across the Superchain ecosystem.
Their project’s Github repository is growing in community engagement, with 32 stars and 7 forks as of today, and a growing number of developers exploring and contributing to it.
With continued community engagement, developer adoption and continuous iteration based on user feedback, we believe they are able to drive even greater impact to those building on Unichain and the Superchain, by addressing potential friction points for developers, ultimately accelerating adoption and improving user experiences.
Dailofrog: NFTs
As a self-proclaimed NFT maximalist, Dailofrog created "tinyass unicorns" - the first NFT collection on Unichain built on DN404, allowing for fractionalized NFTs that coexist as both NFTs and fungible memecoins.

The project has gained traction NFT trading volume on Unichain(source). The Retro Grant will enable Dailofrog to continue exploring innovative intersections of art, technology, and community engagement on Unichain.
The Unichain Foundation issues Retro Grants monthly, with a weekly committee voting to determine recipients. If you've launched a project on Unichain showing meaningful traction, or created impactful content about the ecosystem, we encourage you to apply.
Note: For developers, projects must be integrated with and launched on Unichain mainnet to be considered for a Retro Grant.
Unichain and Uniswap v4 enable a diverse variety of project development, and any of those projects might touch on different areas of laws or regulations in different forums. The Uniswap Foundation encourages compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and it is incumbent upon builders to consult with legal counsel as appropriate to determine the legal requirements and restrictions (if any) for their projects.

Introducing Unichain Developer Grants
Amplifying and accelerating the builders who drive DeFi forward. Last week marked the launch of Unichain, a new Ethereum L2 designed for DeFi, and powered by the Superchain. Unichain is built to be the home for DeFi and liquidity in our multichain world. It’s low cost, while furthering decentralization. It’s fast, with near instant transactions. It’s designed to offer seamless multi-chain swapping. It’s open source, with components available for other chains to adopt. Unichain is built to sca...
