April has been an exciting month for us at the Uniswap Foundation! As part of our commitment to transparency, we're excited to share our first monthly roundup, highlighting key developments from our team in April 2024.
New Workstreams: We've launched two new funding categories: Protocols and Security to ensure the continued security and innovation of the Protocol and to strengthen feedback loops between the ecosystem and development.
2023 Financial Summary: We’re pleased to enhance transparency for the community by providing regular financial updates, beginning with a summary of our operations for the year ended December 31, 2023.
Team Expansion: We’re thrilled to have grown our team. We recently onboarded two new full-time team members:

Job Opportunities: We’re currently hiring for two key roles:
Auditless: Under the new Protocols funding category, we’ve provided a $1.2M grant to Auditless to launch the Protocol Grants Program.
Allium Labs: We are proud to have announced a $480,000 grant allocated to Allium Labs to develop the ‘DEX Analytics Portal’. Click for more details.
Community Analytics Program: We opened a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Uniswap Community Analytics Program. The submission deadline closed on May 1, and we’re looking forward to providing an update on our selection in the coming weeks.
v4 Code-Freeze: Along with Uniswap Labs, we have reached a significant milestone with the upcoming code-freeze of Uniswap v4. Learn more about what this means here.
The Hook Incubator: Earlier this year, the UF announced a grant to Atrium Academy to launch the Uniswap Hook Incubator and cover full tuition for builders. The first cohort commenced on April 11! Applications for the July cohort are open until June 28.

The Latest in DeFi Research (TLDR) Conference: Apply for tickets for the inaugural conference in NYC (May 16 - May 17). Keynote speakers include Eric Budish and Alex Nezlobin.
ETH Prague: Uniswap Foundation has offered $20,000 in bounties at the ETH Prague Hackathon (May 31 - June 2).
GovSwap: Following the positive impact of ETH Denver’s GovSwap, we’re excited to share more details on the second delegate gathering at ETH CC soon (July 7 - July 8).
