How to Navigate Uniswap v4 Data
Uniswap v4 is here! With the new singleton architecture, hooks, flash accounting, and support for native ETH, it introduces fresh concepts that change how we look at and analyze onchain data. This post provides a quick guide to help you navigate v4 data, carry out analytics, and start discovering new insights right away. Overview:Discover: Where to find Uniswap v4 data and how it differs from previous versions.Learn: Practical methods for analyzing core features—like hooks and singleton pools...

Introducing Unichain Developer Grants
Amplifying and accelerating the builders who drive DeFi forward. Last week marked the launch of Unichain, a new Ethereum L2 designed for DeFi, and powered by the Superchain. Unichain is built to be the home for DeFi and liquidity in our multichain world. It’s low cost, while furthering decentralization. It’s fast, with near instant transactions. It’s designed to offer seamless multi-chain swapping. It’s open source, with components available for other chains to adopt. Unichain is built to sca...

Introducing the Uniswap Hook Incubator
The Uniswap Foundation is thrilled to introduce the latest funded initiative under our evolved grants program: The Uniswap Hook Incubator by Atrium Academy. In this piece, we describe the importance of this initiative, the grantees, and the positive impact it will have on the Uniswap Protocol.Empowering v4 Hooks DevelopersUniswap v4 introduces unprecedented flexibility and opportunity for the Protocol through ‘hooks’– programmable functions that execute during specific points in a pool’s life...

We're excited to announce Wave 2 of the Unichain Infinite Hackathon winning projects: permissionless margin-trading, AI-powered DeFi optimization, prediction markets, and cross-chain trades.
Early Unichain builders are pushing the boundaries of DeFi, and the Uniswap Foundation is excited to support them at every step of the builder journey. We're thrilled to introduce the second cohort of winners that highlight the diverse capabilities of the Unichain community.
The Infinite Hackathon provides go-to-market support and financial grants of up to $7.5K to promising Unichain projects from hackathons and coding competitions worldwide. All entries are judged by a dedicated committee of DeFi experts: Mika Honkasalo, Peteris Erins, Kenneth Ng, Gordon Liao and Austin Adams.
Founded by Sky Lai, the Likwid.fi team brings one of the first fully permissionless, oracle-less margin trading protocols based on Uniswap v4 to the ecosystem.
"Uniswap's reputation for fostering cutting-edge projects aligns perfectly with our goals at Likwid.fi," Sky explains. "Participating in the infinite hackathon allows us to showcase our expertise, gain valuable feedback, and potentially integrate our solutions with Uniswap's ecosystem, driving forward the future of decentralized finance."
Likwid's smart contract has begun the audit process and will be deployed on Unichain as soon as the audit is completed. The team hopes to gain support from more Uniswap LPs when they launch on mainnet.
With a background dating back to 2017 as a crypto developer, Ilia and the Plasma Labs team have been building various DeFi protocols and tools for years, including previous contributions to Uniswap governance.
Their current project combines AI technology with DeFi to solve two critical problems: the complexity barrier for mainstream adoption and the need for automation in sophisticated trading strategies. By integrating with Uniswap Universal Router and Unichain, they've created an AI agent that can help users optimize transactions and execute complete DeFi strategies with minimal technical knowledge.
"If we combine AI that helps us with authorization, decision making, and transaction building, and build a simple and beautiful UI that can be utilized by even non-crypto users who just want to earn some yield in crypto, they can easily talk to the UI, ask what they need, and the AI agent can help them execute this transaction, or even execute the whole DeFi strategy," explains 0xDegen.
The project is currently optimizing on-chain interactions to create a fully autonomous solution that can operate without human intervention while maintaining security and reliability.
Led by Silvio Busonero, Jared Tokuz, and Nicola Franco, Vista Markets is building prediction markets specifically designed for long tail events. The platform aims to fill a critical gap in the DeFi ecosystem by enabling users to participate in markets beyond just the most popular predictions.
"We found tremendous support from the Uniswap ecosystem," says Silvio. "The Uniswap Hook Incubator, hackathons, and learning materials made me want to invest more time in building products for DEXes."
The team is already in discussions with design partners for white-label prediction market solutions that could expand into betting and futarchy applications. Their roadmap focuses on continuing development of Vista while exploring specialized DEX solutions for specific asset segments.
The Veraswap team consists of Leo Vigna, Oscar Baracos and Kevin El Sayed. Their journey in the Uniswap ecosystem began with Verabridge, a one-click bridge deployer for Hyperlane Warp Routes that helped token projects with Uniswap liquidity on one chain (like Ethereum) deploy bridge tokens to L2s such as Unichain.
Building on this foundation, they developed Veraswap – a cross-chain DEX that leverages Uniswap, Hyperlane, and Superchain Interop technologies to enable seamless trading for tokens that lack intent solvers and only maintain liquidity on a single chain.
"We built our MVP at ETH Denver and won 2nd place in the Uniswap v4 on Unichain Innovation category, as well as 1st place in SwapSmart with Superchain Interop," explains Leo.
Currently finalizing their first production version with a planned April launch, Veraswap plans to support cross-chain swaps with Hyperlane Warp Route tokens across Ethereum, Unichain, Base, and Optimism. The team is also preparing for the Superchain Interop upgrade to enable even faster cross-chain transactions.
If you're building on Unichain or exploring the possibilities of Uniswap v4, we want to support you! Enter your project into the Infinite Hackathon today and join the ranks of builders shaping the future of DeFi.
