How to Navigate Uniswap v4 Data
Uniswap v4 is here! With the new singleton architecture, hooks, flash accounting, and support for native ETH, it introduces fresh concepts that change how we look at and analyze onchain data. This post provides a quick guide to help you navigate v4 data, carry out analytics, and start discovering new insights right away. Overview:Discover: Where to find Uniswap v4 data and how it differs from previous versions.Learn: Practical methods for analyzing core features—like hooks and singleton pools...

Introducing Unichain Developer Grants
Amplifying and accelerating the builders who drive DeFi forward. Last week marked the launch of Unichain, a new Ethereum L2 designed for DeFi, and powered by the Superchain. Unichain is built to be the home for DeFi and liquidity in our multichain world. It’s low cost, while furthering decentralization. It’s fast, with near instant transactions. It’s designed to offer seamless multi-chain swapping. It’s open source, with components available for other chains to adopt. Unichain is built to sca...

Introducing the Uniswap Hook Incubator
The Uniswap Foundation is thrilled to introduce the latest funded initiative under our evolved grants program: The Uniswap Hook Incubator by Atrium Academy. In this piece, we describe the importance of this initiative, the grantees, and the positive impact it will have on the Uniswap Protocol.Empowering v4 Hooks DevelopersUniswap v4 introduces unprecedented flexibility and opportunity for the Protocol through ‘hooks’– programmable functions that execute during specific points in a pool’s life...

The third cohort of Infinite Hackathon awarded projects includes automatic restaking, depeg risk management, and AI powered prediction markets.
Over the past months, we’ve been inspired to see DeFi builders bring their creativity to Unichain: with teams exploring everything from permissionless margin trading to prediction market hooks. Today, we’re excited to announce the third cohort of Unichain Infinite Hackathon winners: Emily Jiji and Simran Merchant’s Rehypothecation Hook, Cork, and EigenBets, whose projects create new frontiers for DeFi. The Infinite Hackathon provides go-to-market support and financial grants of up to $7.5K to promising Unichain projects from hackathons and coding competitions worldwide. All entries are judged by a dedicated committee of DeFi experts: Mika Honkasalo, Peteris Erins, Kenneth Ng, Gordon Liao and Austin Adams.
Emily Jiji and Simran Merchant: Rehypothecation Hook
Developed by Emily Jiji and Simran Merchant, the Rehypothecation Hook is a Uniswap v4 hook that automatically restakes ETH when a liquidity position is inactive, enabling LPs to earn passive yield. The team chose Unichain because they were looking for a solution that allows seamless cross-chain restaking without fragmenting capital or complicating LP management. Unichain optimizes cross-chain liquidity flows, making it easier to integrate restaking across multiple ecosystems, while ensuring capital efficiency. After winning third place and the Uniswap Bounty at this year’s Eigen Games and receiving an Infinite Hackathon grant, Emily and Simran is joining the Uniswap Hook Incubator to continue their work on the hook’s v2.
Cork is a tokenized risk protocol that provides a marketplace for managing depeg risks in stablecoins and liquid (re)staking tokens. With Cork, users can price, hedge, trade, and earn on depeg risks. Backed by a16z and partnered with Lido, Ethena, Galaxy, and EtherFi, Cork is building the infrastructure needed to bring risk-managed, institutional-grade capital into onchain credit markets. Cork v2 is in development, as the team looks to optimize the protocol for capital efficiency and multichain expansion.
EigenBets: AI-Powered, Automated Prediction Markets
EigenBets is designed to solve for critical issues faced by today’s prediction markets, with fully automated, AI-driven market resolution. All transactions and market resolutions are recorded on public ledgers, allowing for complete outcome verification. By leveraging automated systems and AI agents, EigenBets can work to provide better detection and prevention of market manipulation, drive more accurate predictions and price discovery, and enhance liquidity.
Whether you’re building on Unichain or exploring the potential of hooks: we’re here to support you. Enter your project into the Infinite Hackathon, and sign up for our builder community updates.
Unichain and Uniswap v4 enable a diverse variety of project development, and any of those projects might touch on different areas of laws or regulations in different forums. The Uniswap Foundation encourages compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and it is incumbent upon builders to consult with legal counsel as appropriate to determine the legal requirements and restrictions (if any) for their projects.
