I like boxes and had been wanting the original packaging for my OP-1 & OP-Z since I got them but nothing worthy has been listed until the other day someone put an OP-Z box for bid on eBay but I want to just buy it 😭 I checked Reverb for something else when it recommended an OP-1 box coming from the original seller I bought the device from lmao and they were also selling an OP-Z box — talk about serendipity 😇 Now I just need to get lucky and find a PO-133 box but I'll probably need to buy another device to get it 🙃

I've been going down a RaspberryPi rabbit hole looking for a USB Audio recording solution, I've found HATs, scripts and just now an application which might actually be exactly what I needed 😇 At first I was considering adding a Raspberry Pi Codec Zero HAT and just using a line in for AUX but I really don't want to split the audio to be able to monitor it... but I love the idea of a Pi Zero recorder 👏 I kept digging for a few days until I was just going back over all of the results when I found Z-LiveRec which seems to allow USB Audio recording and a direct VNC connection to the app so the Pi can be headless, then I'll just need to test if a Pi Zero 2 is fast enough as they stated the app is sluggish on it versus a Pi 3+ but hopefully this is the answer! 🐸

I was so disheartened to plug in my new Nothing (1) Headphones into my OP-Z/OP-1 and no sound came out... but it worked fine with my Pocket Operators/EP-1320... I was baffled 🤷 After trying several different setups, settings, etc. I was about to give up when I saw the Ground Loop Isolator I had recently bought and honestly thought I wasted my money because I figured I'd never need it for my recording setup, but I plugged it into my headphones and I could hear sound! 🙌 I am now one happy camper ⛺

I'm just used to bending over and taking it but apparently you can disable Gmail from reading your emails if you're interested 😇

Alright, so I've been digging my debt hole deeper with all of my recent musical equipment purchases but I've been justifying them by how much joy, creativity and overall quality of life improvement they've each provided which has been more than I could have imagined 😇 I am obsessed with checking for used listings and finding amazing deals, especially when I don't have any money to begin with lmao I might as well just wait for the right price! 😅 As I opened eBay last night there was a listing for an OP-XY for less than 1/3rd of its retail price and it's all that I can think about now 👀 Homelessness be damned 🐸
