Next up suggestions?
And please for the love of god, no '50 Shades of Grey but with dragons/unlikely 20-something heroine gets railed in great detail (repeatedly) by a 400 yr old vampire/magician'.
So far this year I've read:
- There is no anti-meme division (QNTM) 4/5
- Dating after the end of the world (Jeneva Rose) 3/5
- The Wrong Unit 4/5 (easy, cute afternoon read, Rob Dircks)
- The Mistborn Series (no thank you Brandon Sanderson, we're done here) 3/5
- The Left Hand of Darkness (Le Guin) 4/5
- Artemis (Weird) 3/5
- The Secret Life of the Universe (NF Nathalie Cabrol) 4/5
Enjoy both Fiction and Non-Fiction, NF mostly in science, anthropology or history, been enjoying some AI reads as well.
I read ~50 books last year, so a lot of the obv fiction writers have been covered, but open to anything!
This year I'm not locking in, not grinding...only subscribing to 'The Nine Delights'.
I have no idea what the future holds, but I'll figure it out (I always do) and I have no interest in not enjoying myself as much I can. Instead of burning myself out to reach my goals, I'm going to have one hell of a good time and let the universe provide. Giddy up. 🙋🏻♀️

✨ Me: 2026 be bringing me a nerdy, emotionally intelligent, securely attached man to watch the stars with (visible, Wars, and Trek), a new home, and the continued freedom to say “no” to work.
You: May 2026 bring you green candles, bull markets, drama-free feeds, fresh ATHs, utility, and any other goodies that make you happy. ✨
Up and to the right y'all. HNY 🖤
Can someone please mansplain the hype about Marty Supreme to me? I'd rant about it but don't want to spoil it for anyone that is looking forward to watching.
Dusted off something I wrote a few years ago.
My feeds are full of "if he's not obsessed with you, leave" and "a real one shows up with 100% energy from day one." (yes I'm telling on myself and algo here)
Meanwhile, everyone I know is mid-process, tired, or carrying something they can't explain to a stranger.
‘What we lose when we stop being curious’ …or ‘something something toothpaste’
