I realised we've never really talked about the Forge. 🔥 There's been a thread by Dotnouns on X, but then a lot has happened and I was thinking you might want to know more about it. The Forge works on a burn → mint mechanism. You hand over some $NOGS, it disappears, and in return you can mint an NFT from the community pool. Here's a few subleties I want to make clear: - Supply reduction is baked in: every burn shrinks the circulating supply. - No hidden minting: NFTs in the pool are pre-funded, allocated. You’re not creating from thin air. - Community-owned pool: we don’t curate or gatekeep, your ability to mint only depends on your $NOGS. In practice: 👉 You pick or discover a Forgeable NFT in the pool 🔥 You burn the required $NOGS ✅ You receive that NFT 🔄 Circulating supply goes down This is how we turn $NOGS into something alive, something YOU can shape. I’ve been quiet for a while. Life, work, and a lot happening behind the scenes with NOGS. But most of all, going back online after such a long absence is no joke. If you've ever found yourself in the same situation, you know. It should be easier, it definitely should feel easier, yet it's heavier than I'd ever thought possible. I guess tho, like anything, the first step's always the hardest. So here I am taking it. It was about time, especially with everything that is going to happen around NOGS in the days and weeks ahead. So I'm back here to share reflections, updates, and a bit of what we’re building.
