to date, both users and bridge operators have had a strong preference for native assets vs. receiving a bridge token.
I think preferences might actually change. 3 things to keep an eye on:
random prediction: RaaS providers end up collaborating more than they compete
each chain will have a "core provider" + subscribe to a lighter weight validation service from other RaaS's. some teams may eventually only try to compete on the latter

Where does most the grant funding issued by top protocols go? Kinda surprised there’s not more really-well maintained middleware offerings like @viem for things like Uniswap
