Sui Network Turns to Mist
Developers of the Sui Network introduced Mist units for the project’s native SUI tokens in a move geared towards more efficient micropayments. Mist is not a separate token, but functions similar to how 100 cents become $1. Each SUI will be broken up into 1 billion MIST, developers said, allowing for low gas fees while conducting transfers worth a few dollars.

Sui Network launches the Sui Foundation. The Foundation aims to distribute Sui Foundation funds (including $SUI tokens), build the Sui ecosystem, and create a home for the Sui community. The Foundation will maintain transparency and a level playing field by allocating and distributing funds in a fair, open and democratic manner. In addition, the Foundation's decisions will be transparent and will establish a dialogue with the community.
