And to make the point here, I’m trying to publish a “here’s why I’m exporting subscribers to my Ghost site on @paragraph and the dashboard isn’t loading properly and the publishing is hung. Same problem I had 6 months ago when I stopped using Paragraph. Never wonder why people stop using this type of tech.
Just logged into my Mirror site, with my writers subdomain token, which I was so excited to get years ago.
My subdomain is gone. Its now a generic paragraph. Which is such a squirrely platform I stopped using it months ago and ported over to ghost.
For an industry that claims permanence as a core premise, this is bullshit. None of these platforms are permanent and your writing isn’t safe either.
Guess i’ll be bonding w arweave over the holidays.
Not gonna lie, I deleted the twitter a month ago and officially exited crypto professionally to work in explainable AI.
I work with adults who are trying to break the stranglehold of corporate black box AI. It is refreshing, mission-driven and what crypto used to be for me.
I get to craft narratives about ethical and useful implementations of transparent AI driven by SMALL language models.
And here’s the kicker…my nervous system is calm again.
EILI5– “decentralized” ai promotes verifiable data to protect from black box AI, and in the same marketing plug says they pull data from OpenAI, a black box AI. & ppl throw cash at this bullshit. Im so tired of the multimillion dollar grifts in this industry. The absolute lack of integrity is beyond stunning at this point.
Alrighty y’all — we just sent out a proposal for a fabulous potential partner. Gonna need ALL my lovely ethereum humans to send some good vibes our way!!! This project has some beautiful bones. 🤣 not that im biased or anything.
We’re up to some storytelling over at /thehumanlayer https://humanlayer.substack.com/p/node-of-hope
We’re looking for Executive Producers to help fund the documentary project for @devcon Holler if you want to help support the stories of hope for #ethereum
In the past 14 days I’ve canceled my Amazon Prime acct of many years, fully deactivated and deleted my Twitter acct of 17 years, made a plan to fully migrate off Apple (except a “dirty device” for music/movies), made a plan for virtual VPS thru Iceland & helped others lock their shit down or talked them thru a digital resistance plan over coffee.
One beautiful thing about the chaos of the past year is regaining my time, and my voice. And the long, luxurious afternoons of writing on the porch. This one contains a plethora of "fucks" and it is divine.

Hoo boy!! I deleted my twitter account, launched in 2008. Deleted ALL the tweets, likes, bookmarks (thank you Cyd app) swapped out the profile info and parked that handle. Also canceled my Amazon Prime today. I am done giving my time and money to platforms who deploy dangerous algorithms, believe in technofeudalism and give refuge to the worst Among us. Next up, my 2 month old Substack.
A decade of goodness!! Happy Birthday Ethereum!!
From my first eth > crypto kitty purchase in 2017, I was hooked. I didn’t know exactly what it all meant or how it worked, but I knew it was the future and I needed to understand it.
What a ride!
