Farcaster can not and will not scale to the level of X.
The crypto dream is at a much slower growth scale than most of the accelerationists can accept. That is why a company like
@neynar was able to acquire the protocol. The initial valuation did not meet the expectations of the VCs as to how much Farcaster could grow.
It is now offloaded to a company with a much smaller initial valuation, to manage the lowered expectations.
For me, this is a good thing, as the pmf settles into reality. I hope growth will be more organic and only scales to the expectations and needs of the users.
