I went from listening to Spaces on Twitter all day every day for the better part of a year, to barely opening that app and rarely posting there.
I have given myself back precious time to spend with my family, friends, and all the projects I have my hands in. No regrets at all, although I see some of my developer friends struggling with distribution and posting anywhere they can for attention. I can’t bring myself to do much over on that app, but it may be necessary, as a builder, looking to get more users.
Anyone have thoughts on this conundrum?
If you’re having issues with chat not connecting on Base App, I was able to resolve my issue by logging out, deleting the app, reinstalling, and waiting several hours for chats to re-sync.
Hope this helps someone who also has that issue.
Make sure you have your passkey before going through these steps!

No fake friends in 2026! If you’ve ever counted on someone who acted like they were there for you, but left you hanging or took you for granted, they can watch from the sidelines while you thrive next year.
