I wasn’t raised around the ocean.
I lived in survival mode until 31, trying to make it in a country that’s always quietly testing who belongs.
Now that I finally have space to create, it somehow feels harder this constant uncertainty, this moment we’re all in. But my journey here started with uncertainty too. Ten years ago. And before that, in Nepal.
Landlocked. First-gen. A woman in a male-dominated field. These books, these years, shaped who I became.
That’s why I’m even more committed to this version of ShowUpWithSam—one that bridges all my identities and keeps choosing the dream despite the systems, the constraints, the odds.
Because it’s never been about arriving.
It’s about becoming.
If this is your vibe, follow along.
Next post: what ambition and showing up for myself actually made possible.
Just a reminder this week for myself:
I will not hesitate!
Building a swimming practice with 20 min swims three times per week
Three+ surfs a week
Four strength training sessions
POV: you stop trying to “change your life” and start acting like the person you want to be.
25 minutes of drawing.
25 minutes of code.
25 minutes of writing.
No hype.
No perfect routine.
Just showing up.
This is my practice.
Tomorrow is early Dawn patrol surf, showing up as a surfer then swimmer, then some surf focused machine learning model building!
I can just do things
Perhaps monad stuck usdc could be moved to my base usdc by writing my own contract at this point
Any thoughts ?
Also, Happy Hannukah!! 💕
