Great post from Vitalik.
Cook low risk defi into reputation based capital allocation mechanisms. An organization achieving sustainable exit velo without just firing out all the funds ain't easy. But embracing the us+later and planting the seed by funneling capital into cooperatively owned structures that spit off yield in perpetuity that is governed/allocated to some extent by the historical and currently active participants is part of how we build a more pluralistic world.
There are so many levers to pull with vote weighting, contribution measurement, ownership and opt out capability, etc. Governance/coordination is undeniably really gd hard and the gravitational pull of capital won't always create life, but it will sometimes.
Cook in time passing and eventually we will iterate/experiment our way into pretty amazing and modular plug and play systems with seamless normie onboarding. Will def fund a lot more public goods and things that matter to the endless universe of different communities.

Cookie Jar is a pretty simple but powerful allocation mechanism that allows you to "create controlled token pools with customizable access rules, withdrawal limits, and transparent tracking."
Efficiently and safely generating yield with the capital in treasuries unlocks additional sustainable funding which gives communities the opportunity to better express their values. Let's pay workers and fund public goods. Doesn't need to be complicated.
But it will be so dope to connect vaults to allocation mechanisms like @flowstatecoop and @gardens. Mix in standardized impact accounting and reputation based governance weighting and you are really cooking.
