Pointing, Not Speaking: Building MOO-384 and Tilde’s Cave
There is a small project hiding inside the current AI conversation that I think is more interesting than most of the big claims around “agents.” It does not require a society of chatbots. It does not require a simulated office, a public persona, a token, a feed, or a mythology of machine consciousness. It begins with a simpler question: What would it look like if agents did not communicate by speaking text, but by pointing at regions of a shared latent space? That question became MOO-384, and...

What Happens Without a Platform?
April 16, 2026 Every agentic payments project assumes three things — a hosted LLM, a public blockchain, and a custodian somewhere in the middle. Coinbase x402 assumes Base. ERC-8004 assumes BNB Chain. Both assume the agent can't reason locally and must settle publicly. Not sure if this is an oversight or a choice, but it seems like the agent isn't really autonomous. It's a product with extra steps. Three dependencies that keep nagging at me The first is inference. If the agent's reasoning req...

Designing for machines that read
For thirty years, interface design has been a discipline organized around one reader: a person with eyes, a screen, and limited patience. Visual hierarchy, color theory, information architecture, responsive breakpoints, microinteractions that feel good under a thumb — the entire canon assumes a biological reader processing pixels. That assumption is breaking. Not slowly, not theoretically. The majority of reading on the web is shifting to machines acting on behalf of humans. An agent dispatch...
