Chromie Squiggle #9999 now resides in LACMA's permanent collection. The community gathered yesterday with @snowfro to witness this milestone for generative art. Special thanks to @squiggledao and @opensea for making this possible. 📸: @aventurine
Update: I’m officially joining @artblocks full-time as CPO!
Over the past few months, I’ve worked with @snowfro and the team to shape the vision for 2025. Excited to help bring it to life with this amazing community.
Let’s build—DMs open for ideas and feedback!
Big news: Art Blocks is now truly on-chain!
Today marks a significant milestone in the Art Blocks journey. As we celebrate 4 years, we're thrilled to announce that 90% of artwork released across our ecosystem is now fully on-chain—including all dependencies. No external services, no platform dependencies.
Everything needed to generate these works lives permanently on Ethereum. Using just a web browser and access to the blockchain, these artworks can be experienced exactly as intended, forever.
This achievement represents a fundamental shift in digital art preservation. Run your own generator, pin the UI to IPFS, or access directly from Ethereum—these works are now truly independent of any platform.

"The Velvet Underground's first album only sold 10k copies, but everyone who bought it formed a band" - Brian Eno
CryptoPunks feels similar. 10,000 pixel art characters that birthed an entire creative movement. Just like those early VU fans went on to reshape music, early Punk collectors went on to build the foundation of what we now call web3.
In both cases, a small pioneering group took something weird and experimental and used it as inspiration to create something entirely new.
And just like how you can trace so much of alternative music back to Velvet Underground, you can trace so many web3 projects, communities, and companies back to early Punk holders.
Sometimes the most profound cultural shifts start with just a few thousand true believers.
Today we introduced the Art Blocks x OpenSea Artist Residency in Marfa, TX!
This is part of a larger AB x OS partnership, but the residency is the most exciting piece - creating real-world spaces for digital artists to push boundaries and find inspiration in West Texas. 🌵✨

I paid half a Bitcoin for World Series tickets.
In 2017, the Dodgers were back in the Fall Classic. My son and I had to be there. I sold 0.5 BTC for two tickets. Kershaw dominated, Dodgers took Game 1—core memory locked in.
That moment pulled me back into crypto. I saw ETH on Coinbase, installed MetaMask, and minted CryptoKitties. A few months later, I joined a DEX startup. Grateful for the journey.
Go Dodgers!
What do we think about the impact of private NFT sales?
When a buyer stays anonymous in a space driven by active community engagement and network effects, does it enhance value through scarcity—or disrupt the cultural connections that make NFTs thrive?
Just got this photo from @snowfro of Heart + Craft #1 on display at the Museum of Art + Light in Kansas!
This piece made its journey to space earlier this year with Axiom Space, docking with the ISS, and now lives as part of the exhibit. 💙🚀🖼️
I’m excited to share that I’ve joined @artblocks as a consultant on the product and strategy side.
Art Blocks is a brand and community I care deeply about, and I’m honored to work alongside @snowfro and the talented team here. 💜
