Fan Edition part 2
This week I continued to explore the world of fans and fan data. I have divided this email into sections where the headlines are the TLDRs. While reading this, please listen to this track. Interesting to reflect on how important block-chains tech really is in order to improve the creator economy. Ex: obvious how tokens are inherently tied to the blockchain, but not obvious if the content accessible through a token needs to be hosted decentralized or centralized. Web3: Substitute or complement to major DSPs Only a handful of creators globally are powerful enou...

Wallet and Identity
While the amount of people that have and use a wallet is growing (30M people use Metamask each month) it is obviously still far from mainstream. Interesting to consider what a wallet will look like and how it will be used as the utility of tokens increase and become more ubiquitous. Would be surprised if the core value proposition of a wallet remains to be centered around financial utility such as buying, swapping, and earning interest on coins - how many do you know today that use their bank...
